  1. Wow, small world eh? Yeh, I was in there stocking up for the first BBQ of the year! I had the worst hangover ever on Sunday...

  2. Saw you in Tescos yesterday! Haha :D

    Random Facts About Yourself

Last weekend, I drunkenly drank beer from the shoe of a random 40-year old woman.

    Post A Picture Of Yourself!

I'm sure I see you knocking around the bins in Southampton town center - sorry for not giving you any change

    Reading Festival

Couldn't find a thread on this anywhere else. So, is anyone going this year? The lineup looks amazing so far, with the promise of others to come (including, if there is a God, Modest Mouse). I am particularly looking forward to the threat of losing a limb in the mosh pit during Killing in the Name Of (even though this isn't a particular favourite song of mine). And can you believe Glastonbury is yet to sell out (I think)? What's happened to that festival? If I were around, I'd definitely go to that one too. Despite Jay Z.

What Are You Listening To At This Moment?

The Black Keys - Hold Me in Your Arms
  9. Already a big fan, I went to my first Modest Mouse concert anticipating a good gig, but what followed was just awesome. One of a very few bands whose music is significantly different on stage, and actually improved too. There are lots of bands whose live acts make you want to reach for your earphones, but not these guys. Other notable first timers include Wolfmother, Zox, and the aptly named Live.

    Favourite movie scene?

Wow, so many - 2 quite contrasting ones that spring to mind though are the Sicilian scene between Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken from True Romance (could have picked any scene from that movie) and the opening scene in the Lion King! Sets up the rest of the film brilliantly. Ooh, and the bit in Jurassic Park where the T-Rex has just eaten the Velociraptors and that banner saying "When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth" drifts past. Wow.

Images conjured up by Zepp songs

Just listened to Bron-Yr-Aur again, and it just paints a wonderfully grainy image in my head of the 4 of them lounging around on the grass, just outside the hut itself, jamming away and smoking nice fat joints and just being ultimately relaxed. That is what life should be like.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZEPPALAN

Zepalan eh!? That name combines 2 of the very dearest things to me - Led Zeppelin and Alan Partidge. If this guy was some sort of bizarre hybrid of the 2, I think I'd have found the perfect being. Happy birthday though, even if you aren't my God.

What Are You Listening To At This Moment?

Another album that I can't stop listening to at the moment is Alanis Morissette, Jagged Little Pill. Sometimes it is nice to go back 10 years.

    Post A Picture Of Yourself!

You guys here look really cool! Then again, what do you expect with Zeppelin fans!? By the way, did you know there is a symbol that combines a question mark and an exclamation mark, called an interrobang!? Best word ever, and I could really do with one now...

What Do You Guys Believe Exists?

We had a pretty heated discussion on this very subject this evening. I personally believe that there is nothing at all supernatural in the world. There is no hard evidence to back up such claims. But at the same time, whilst it is impossible to disprove such (crackpot) theories, nor can we deny 100% their existence. And to be honest their are some equally ridiculous theories in science. At the end of the day, I personally don't care an awful lot about what is true and what is a sham - my life is too short to try to disuade one group from another. As long as I live a decent life, note only have I lived as you'd hope most decent people would, but hopefully (although, let's be honest God is a pretty big control freak if He exists) I got myself a decent shot in the afterlife after I die. You can probably tell from these ramblings, that it was a somewhat drunken disussion.
