Grant was among the hardest working men in Led Zep fandom. I attended ZepFest '98 in Cleveland and something like a half-dozen Page/Plant concerts within two weeks of it, to include the Toronto concert. I remember missing one my flights because I could not make it to the gate in time -- I was overloaded with hand-carried Led Zeppelin treasures. 😄 What golden days those were.

Of course they're guilty. Biden insisting that the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Hunter Biden be fired or he would withold foreign aid establishes that beyond a reasonable doubt in my mind. Note also Biden's narrative has changed from having "no knowledge" whatsoever of Hunter's foreign business dealings to having "no involvement" in them. No, for a number of reasons. First and formost, it's political suicide. Secondly, the armed forces themselves do NOT want nor need a bunch of draftees. Sure, she had a very long and successful career but when she passes most people will have to use Wikipedia to know anything about her. There are plenty of actors and actresses older than Gene Hackman and Clint Eastwood but none more famous. Anyway, this whole discussion is problematic. What here is considered the Old Guard of Hollywood? I defined it as pre-World War II cinema. Within that context, all of the stars are dead. Oldest living Hollywood icons -- Gene Hackman (93) and Clint Eastwood (93).

If we're talking major film stars, essentially no one. Every major film star thru the 1940s is now deceased. Gene Hackman is arguably the oldest living major film star, at 93. He's four month's older than Clint Eastwood.

NATO is a relic of the Cold War era. It was necessary to keep the threat of Russia in check so that post-WWII could prosper. That ship sailed a long time ago. Germany doesn't even want US forces stationed in Germany anymore.
