Yeah, I must have imagined all those lockdowns and mandates we saw during the Covid tyranny.

Thanks for that. Good to see someone besides myself paying attention to reality.

I guess it depends on where you live and how you define kooks and weirdos. Certainly not so much where I live.

I was speaking more hypothetically. But you knew that.

There is only one group being relentlessly persecuted in modern America: straight white Christian males.

SO I guess the hundreds of miles he built before he was put out don't count??? He built what he could and he will finish it when he gets back in.

No, ultimately it doesn't count. Until the cornerstone of our national security policy is secure borders today, tomorrow and forever anything he or any elected official does while in public office is little more than a band-aid solution.

Whew!  You'd swear there was some kind of recent legal decision that fired up the Trump troops today.  Gas below $3 bucks, inflation falling, employment rising, record stock market, peak oil production, and in short, the most successful economic rebound currently in the world. That might explain why 5 conservative entertainment news networks are spending all day talking about immigration.

Such posts are always partisan, never profound. Yes, the national average for a gallon of gas is $3.06. It's also winter when supply far exceeds demand. Check in six months. Inflation is trending favorably because the interest rates haven't dropped. Employment rising? Since 2021, nearly 72% of all job gains are simply jobs that were being recovered from the pandemic, not new job creation. In fact, compared to pre-pandemic levels, employment is up by only 3.7 million, a significant portion of which are government jobs. A staggering 94% of new jobs at S&P 100 corporations have gone to people of color.

Our catastrophic open borders policy has resulted in an illegal alien invasion unprecedented in our nation's history, from which we may never recover. Regardless of what any media outlet is saying about it, the time has come to do something about it and I stand with Texas and those that stand with Texas.

I happen to believe that is what most of the people coming here want...a chance at a normal life. To work, have a family, etc.

Yeah, nothing says my intentions are noble like obliterating any trace of who I am as I force myself into your home.

That is generally how it works. You don't realize you are in a fascist state until it is too late.

Go after the gays? Fine. Go after the kooks and weirdos, fine. Go after the Jews, coons, Catholics, illegals, fine. Go after anyone who isn't like you.

By the time they come after you, it's too late.

You think the gays, kooks, weirdos and illegals are being persecuted? Wow.

Trump will play the role he played in his last four years and bring this country back to where it should be.

Isn't it pretty to think so? However, that is not how a constitutional republic works. Most of the reform America requires must come from Congress yet it won't. This is why although Trump insisted time and again we were going to build a border wall we did not. When the last election was stolen the materials for the wall were sold as scrap for pennies on the dollar. We need what we are seeing now in Texas --  STATES banding together to enforce our borders in defiance of a feral government. This is the way.

Of course I'm not serious. At least about that.

I am serious about the sorry state of politics if Biden and Trump are the best we can do after all this time. I am serious about not voting for either one this year.

The Democrats are too caught up in rainbow identity politics and victimhood. The Republicans are too in thrall to jackboot authoritarianism and going back to an America that only exists in fantasy.

Neither party's vision of America is sustainable nor resembles what the Founding Fathers envisioned.

They're just playing roles. It's a uniparty through and through and they all need to go. This country cannot be restored to glory at the ballot box.

It is clear now more than ever, Dak Prescott has got to go. Dallas would be making a huge mistake giving him piles of more money. Cut your losses now, trade him and get someone else who is cheaper or try to draft a quarterback in this year's class.

I completely agree they need to ditch Dak at any cost. He's not a good fit and he's not the answer. He's got one of the most prestigious jobs in the United States yet always seems like he's just clocking in and clocking out. He freely admitted he sucked this weekend yet didn't seem to care in the least. Even beyond that, far too few big moments in his career.

  10. BUFFALO

That’s what ya get for offering a measly $20/HR for hard labor in those temps. NFL and the teams just scored TENS OF MILLIONS (PEACOCK) ripping off the fans. Shoulda started at $50, or put some of those 120,000 able-bodied illegals to work to earn their keep.

Oh, you little minx. I'm just imagining what I could do with you...argue all night about something that happened between us 15 years ago, argue about hair in the sink, argue about how much to put in the collection basket at church, argue about your parents coming for an extended visit, argue about not all the dirty clothes hitting the basket. Oh, yeah baby. You will be mine.
