  1. Oh God. This quote just made my night. Who is this journalist? I want to marry him.
  2. Ghost Rider freaked me out. I can't watch anything remotely scary. Freddy Krueger still scares me and I'm 21! Anyway, I just saw Batman Begins for the very first time. It was pretty amazing. The fact that it held my attention for more than five minutes speaks volumes. Christian Bale is a sexy beast. Also, I've pretty much decided that Michael Caine is the coolest guy... ever.
  3. I am a girl, but I totally want that shirt. Classic haha. This thread is amazing. Mmm mmm good.
  4. It does indeed. I really should stick with Michelle for my handle because I always end up picking excessively long names haha. Some of the most popular have been PeanutButterIsGood and BobSagetIsAmazing. I think I need to read the "Picking a Screen Name For Dummies" book.
  5. Thanks for the nice comments! And I can assure you that last time I checked, I didn't look like John Bonham. haha By the way, I was very uncreative when I picked my username and it's pretty ridiculous, so you can call me Michelle if you'd like. I'd like.
  6. Here's me. ^ That picture may be from 17 or 18 years ago... I don't think I've looked at a camera much since then. Most recent pictures of me consist of me avoiding looking at the camera at all costs. Like this... I hate having my picture taken. Ew.
  7. I actually got mail. That is the single most exciting thing in any college student's life. Except, of course, for naptime.
  8. Haha good. Alright, now this thread really has come to making no sense, but that's how I like it.
  9. Haha I got that name from one of their most ridiculous lyrics. But now I'm feeling left out because apparently I'm no one's eskimo in reality.
  10. The Chili Peppers are my other favorite band and I post on one of their message boards somewhat frequently. I did a lot more when they were touring last year and bootlegs were being posted. Anyway, they're talking about this over there. I'm EverybodysEskimo and I always piss people off by saying bad things about Anthony Kiedis. It's all in jest but every now and again someone takes it seriously and calls me mean names. *tear I thought you guys might like to check it out! http://stadium-arcadium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16613
  11. Haha I love Captain Beefheart. Anyway, I doubt this is true, but if it is, talk about the most accurate description of the Chili Peppers ever! Nursery rhyme lol. The Chilis are actually one of my favorite bands and I've loved them forever, but their lyrics are beyond ridiculous. It's like the kind of crap I came up with in third grade when I needed two words that rhymed during the poetry unit. I mean: "Ticky ticky tackita tic tac toe, I know everybody's eskimo" "Riding down the path on the back of a giraffe, Me and the giraffe laughed 'cause I passed some gas" "I've got a mellowship, I've got a fellowship, I've got a nonstop "yo swan" hello chip" "Hump de bump doop bodu, Bump de hump doop bop, Hump de bump doop bodu" "Hey oh, listen what I say oh" Yep, those are quality, meaningful lyrics, are they not? Methinks Anthony Kiedis gets his lyrics from things he sees on the back of a cereal box.
  12. Frank Zappa is my hero. My favorite guitar solo of all time is on Muffin Man. Anyhoo, this is my favorite quote by him. "Scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydogren and THAT is the basic building block." So wise, he was.
  13. I just saw Atonement. Absolutely incredible. One of the most beautifully painful movies I've ever seen. I highly recommend it. There is a perverted Willy Wonka in it, though.
  14. I've been listening to The Ocean nonstop for like three weeks. It's on again. There is no sign of me getting tired of it in the near future. I think I need some help.
  15. It's been snowing all day. It snowed for a while yesterday. It's supposed to snow for the next four days. This never happens here; I'm confused. I'm also headed back to school next week. I don't want to drive all the way back in this stuff. I really need to get rich and famous so I can afford a chauffeur... or just drop out of school and live in my parents' basement.
  16. Are you sure he's hugging a woman there? If he is, she has major man hands. Of course if it's a dude, he's dangerously close to making this an awkward moment. Watch the hands! This is a very good point. And it could do so much more.
  17. It could! We need to unleash it to see just how much good it could do.
  18. This is clearly the best thread ever. I will have good dreams tonight. Anyway, those who are in support of this thread should be in support of my cause for what is clearly the biggest issue in this election year of 2008. I shall share my propaganda with you lovely people. "In this election year, there are many significant issues, none of which are as important as the following. Robert Plant and Alison Krauss are touring this summer. We have four months to convince Robert to bring back the bulge pants. This is by far the most pressing issue of 2008."
  19. This is a picture from last year of my little brother and me. Every time I come home from school my mom turns into the paparazzi and wants all these family pictures. This is more recent. It was during finals this semester and I decided to mess around with my webcam instead of studying. You should see some of the pictures my roommate and I took. This is the only one that lacks insanity.
  20. Oh man. I want to see Sweeney Todd so badly. Johnny Depp has been my favorite actor since I still thought the Care Bears were the coolest thing ever and I've seen his movies the first day they've been in theaters for years now. Burton/Depp collaborations are so amazing, too. Unfortunately, it's in theaters where I go to college, but I got home for winter break a few days ago and it's not here in cowtown. It makes me want to go on my own murderous rampage. Yet another reason no one should live in Idaho. The theaters are prejudiced against good movies.
