  1. Very true! Although on the 2003 DVD at the VERY end of "Going To California" he does this "oooooooh" thing and then smiles that oh so wonderful smile. When I first saw it (after I picked myself up off the floor) I thought it was sorta girly, but irresistible!
  2. I say we make this the official ROBERT PLANT'S SMILE thread.
  3. Just saw a cover of the new Burrn! magazine from Japan that has Robert and Jimmy on the cover. There is also an article on them in the new issue of Blender magazine (with Fergie on the cover). Does anybody have either of these issues? Anyone know of other mags with Zep in them that are currently on shelves now?
  4. I agree. He looks great in that shirt. He needs to wear it more often!
  5. More recent news: A preview clip of LED ZEPPELIN frontman and legendary rocker Robert Plant and bluegrass superstar Alison Krauss performing the track "Gone, Gone, Gone (Done Moved On)" as part of the all-new episode of "CMT Crossroads: Robert Plant And Alison Krauss" can be viewed at this location. "CMT Crossroads: Robert Plant And Alison Krauss" will premiere on Monday, February 11 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The two music icons perform songs from their "Raising Sand" album, including "Please Read the Letter" and "Rich Woman". The pair performed Alison Krauss and UNION STATION's "The Boy Who Wouldn't Hoe Corn", as well as LED ZEPPELIN classics "Black Dog" and "When the Levee Breaks". The pair also pay homage to THE EVERLY BROTHERS with their version of "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)". Special guest T Bone Burnett, acclaimed songwriter, performer and "Raising Sand" producer, joins in the onstage collaboration. Plant and Krauss were recently nominated for a Grammy in the category of "Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals" for the song "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)" from "Raising Sand". 6. Just read about this.... HAS to be good news right?! Not saying a tour.... but at least good news.
  7. This is the cutest drawing... I love the dove on his head.
  8. Those were the only ones I could find on YouTube. I figured visual choices would be best. For some reason I couldn't get the Poll part of this to work... kinda defeats the purpose, but that's ok.
  9. Man, I wasn't really a fan of him in those pants in the 70's OR the 90's! Must go to the Jeans thread for now. Haha
  10. I think he was trying to bring his 1977 look into the 90's.
  11. Wow, never seen this one before! P.S - This is a great thread!
  12. Wow, just read about this. I'm so shocked.
  13. I've been curious about these various Zep DVD's listed on Amazon. Apart from TSRTS, and the official 2003 release, does anyone own any of the others mentioned here? If so, what are they like? Zep DVD's From Amazon
  14. How many of you ladies want THIS 2008 calendar?
  15. In your opinion, which do you think is the best live version of 'Stairway To Heaven'? Note these are video performances (and the only ones I could find on YouTube - although I know that Seattle '77 is up on there now) 1973 Madison Square Gardens 1975 Earls Court 1979 Knebworth 2007 02 Arena
  16. Nice work! I'm tempted to try that on my daily drive thru Tim Hortons tomorrow morning!
  17. Was looking at this site today... there are some fantastic pics of Robert and Zep here: Photo Features
  18. Uh oh, did I just do something I wasn't supposed to? I need to fully read these threads before I post! If I'm not supposed to, someone tell me, and I'll delete it.
  19. Here's the link to The Sun "article". I saw the NME one was posted. I read The Sun's Bizarre purely for entertainment reasons , but it was nice to see Robert's face today, even if The Sun is pretty much just a tabloid. Potty Plant
