  1. Mine too. Thankfully my Zep DVD is not a VHS, because the tape would've been broken at that very part from rewinding so much. Let's see if this works:
  2. Much Music in Canada used to have a metal show called The Power Hour (similiar to Headbangers Ball) where different bands would guest host and play videos they wanted to see. I remember Megadeth hosting, and they played Hot Dog. This must have been about 12 years ago. I seem to recall live footage (Knebworth) mixed in with ski footage, if memory serves me correct.
  3. Judging from the some of the reviews on here, the security at most of the venues has been pretty bad as far as picture taking goes. But you might be ok if you try to be as dicreet as possible. I want to sneak in a camera at the show I'm going to in a few weeks, since I have great seats. I don't want to miss out on some good shots. But I might just end up using my cell phone.
  4. Good article.... and accurate!
  5. Aww Jonesy looks so cute there.
  6. I always thought Jackie DeShannon was a big love of his life too. Wasn't "Tangerine" written about her, or am I wrong?
  7. Agreed. I just re-watched the DVD yesterday, and Robert was just doing his thing.
  8. I would have to agree as much as I would love for this to happen since I'm from T.O. But if they were to do something like this, it would make more sense to do 3 or 4 nights in NY, California, or London. Plus if they started rehearsing 6 weeks prior to the one 02 show, they would need to start rehearsing soon for a 4 night stand in August. Considering Robert's in the middle of a spring/summer tour - it's not happening. Next week there will be another show and another city rumor. I'm surprised this thread has gone on as long as it has!
  9. Aahh the hair... the stare It's all um... there. (and I'll stop rhyming now).
  10. LoveBomb? Hmm... the song "Hot Dog" comes to mind, unless I'm way off.
  11. This was posted on radio station Q107's site regarding the rumor: Led Zeppelin at the Rogers Centre in August? Posted 5/19/2008 2:00:00 AM According to a May 17th posting on MuchMusic's news blog, Led Zeppelin will soon be announced to perform four shows in August at Toronto's Rogers Centre. The blog quotes a "reliable source" and indicates that the four dates will be announced soon. Really? I mean...really? As much as I'd like to believe such a rumour, I can't buy it. Stories like this have been floating around since Led Zeppelin veterans Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones joined original drummer John Bonham's son Jason on stage at London's O2 Arena for the December 10th, 2007 Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert. None of those stories held water, so let's take a look at the facts we can be sure of to see if this is worth believing: 1) Robert Plant and Alison Krauss are touring in support of their album together, Raising Sand, coming through Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre on Monday July 14th and continuing through July 19th when they wrap things up in Nashville, Tennessee, according to Pollstar.com. The pair don't hit the road again until they perform at the "Hardly Strictly Bluegrass" Festival at San Francisco's Speedway Meadow on Friday October 3rd. At first, this would make it seem like there's a big hole in the schedule and it could happen. But why would Plant agree to play the same town just a month later with a different band? And, after being on the road since April, playing in North America, Europe and North America again, why would he not just enjoy some time off? 2) Jason Bonham, who played with the Zeppelin founders on December 10th in place of his deceased father, is currently touring with Foreigner, with a few dates scheduled in August, specifically the 22nd in Detroit, Michigan and the 30th in Atlantic City, New Jersey according to the band's website. While Bonham would be the logical choice to step behind the kit for Led Zeppelin again, other people, including Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters, have offered to step in. For the sake of ease, one would assume Bonham would be the man, but is there enough rehearsal time for him to get re-acquainted with the Led Zeppelin material again? Oh, and speaking of rehearsal time; 3) The members of Led Zeppelin needed a few weeks just to get things together for their show on December 10th in London. Is there really enough time to get things ironed out for a four-night stand at the Rogers Centre? 4) The validity of this piece of evidence is questionable, but in the comments for the blog entry on MuchMusic's website, a person claiming to be Jimmy Page apologized and wrote, "(It's) just not true. (It's) school holidays in August and we never tour then." Considering all of this information, it's highly unlikely that Led Zeppelin would pick August and Toronto to perform. They could work around Plant and Bonham's schedules, but it wouldn't provide a lot of rehearsal time to do things to the standard they claim to prefer. As much as it's possible, I just can't buy it. Do you think there are reasons we might be missing here that make it more likely that Led Zeppelin will perform in Toronto this August? Let us know what you think! <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.q107.com/EI/G/Scripts/swfobject.js">
  12. Me too. I tried to Photoshop the corners of his mouth upwards, but it just ended up scaring me. The BloodyXXX - Yes, that was the issue with Zep on the cover. There were some new pics of JPJ and Jimmy, but that was it for newer Robert pics unfortunately.
  13. More pics because I'm in a scanning kind of mood.
  14. Four nights in Toronto would be nice. But I don't believe one word.
  15. Here's a somewhat better scan of the picture I love from Uncut magazine. Love what he's wearing here. Aww, but he looks kind of sad in it. Sad but hot.
  16. Does he need to question that? Sorry, I couldn't resist. Continue...
  17. Ha! Her life apparently needs 2. The 2nd book concentrates on the "later" part of her life. The other 2 are just about various troubled rock stars, and the groupies that loved them. (Ok, so maybe she only has 4?)
  18. I believe she's written five. All pretty much groupie-oriented.
  19. Great pics, they look so professional! Love the one where Robert's looking into the camera.
  20. It was the other way around, which caused a near cat fight between the two. Almost all of Pamela's books mention Zeppelin throughout including recent encounters. I believe she's stayed good friends with Robert and there are some very recent pics of them floating around on the web. Catherine's book is very good, but doesn't go into too much detail about her relationship with Jimmy which is probably a good thing.
