jim was an alcoholic and he did any drug that was in front of him...peyote, pills, coke, etc. so in that sense he was a drug addict...and jim could be considered as violent in destroying property when he was drunk...and it's not from the stone movie which had horrible casting...meg ryan couldn't act to save her life...to read jim antic's look at no one gets alive book by danny sugarman
