guys can't comment on the games because I didn't watch, got phone call almost mid nite saturday my youngest brother died unexpectedly of heart attack at age 58! there are 4 of us 2 years apart, all brothers and all business partners in heavy construction up until 2019 when we sold all our machinery, so yesterday we bought bunch of food and stayed with them all day, no warning , so devastating, and no sleep again last night, married 39 years, two kids and 3 grandchildren, this shit kind of puts football in perspective, doesn't it? when I get my head out of my ass I'll make my final pick
I'm so sorry to read this. All my best to you and your family.

Actually, it wouldn't be as bad for the NFL as you think. People are getting tired of Kansas City and Detroit chasing their first Super Bowl is the kind of underdog story that America loves. I think the ratings would be just as good as it theoretically would be for Kansas City-San Francisco.
Actually, all the teams except the Ravens have a good story line this season. So as far as that goes, any of them would work. I was mostly thinking of the market size of Baltimore and Detroit. And while KC isn't a big market, Taylor certainly is.

Baltimore
Detroit
Because I know that's the dream matchup for the NFL (hahahahahahaha)

Thanks all!

Soon our Orioles should make a move to replace Gibson. And likelyi trade Urias with Holiday coming. Back to NFL playoffs, there is a very good chance my Bills could be going to Baltimore for a hum dinger of a title game. If it happens, let me know how much the tickets are? Im sure you have the connections Esther.
That's a nice thought, but I have no connections. We have no clients on either my team or yours, and even if we did, I'm way down the line for favors. You're on your own there!

Thanks, Sean, for your generous hosting of all of us weirdos 🙂
And mazel tov Rick!!

Boy Esther you must really hate Dallas? LOL. You realize they win the division with a win and they are sick of being told they cant win on the road. The Redskins have their bags packed. I urge you to rethink this and pick the team you hate. I know you wont though. Dallas 13 on the road. The only question here is whether they cover. Good to see you took the Bills. I believe the Bills will wind up in Baltimore for the AFC.
I appreciate your concern Rick, but as I say at the start of each season, I only do these picks so I can take the team I hate less to win. I will never pick Dallas - I'd even pick the Steelers over them if they were playing each other. Maybe. Or maybe I'd just leave that one blank...
I also do this to hang around with you weirdos. Otherwise, I'd have little to no reason to show up here
