  1. Tonight I played two hours of full court basketball. I scored a couple of off balance points and received some odd looks from fellow teammates. A couple of other guys patted me on the butt and that felt good too.
  2. That type of stuff goes on all the time in the corporate world.
  3. Jesus, what is the secret to getting a Josie Maran in the sack?
  4. Jesus, what is the secret to getting a Josie Maran in the sack?
  5. I played 1 1/2 hours of basketball this morning. Good workout and I scored a bunch of points.
  6. Modest Mouse fans suck!! Springsteen has a pit section at his GA shows. My first preference is a seat ANY WHERE. If I am forced to buy GA, I don't even bother attempting to get into the pit. You get these self annointed dicks who maintain "lists" of first arrivals outside the venue. I find those people extremely irritating.
  7. Jesus, only I could kill the Beautiful Women thread. It really is a great song.
  8. Great song by Steppenwolf. It's a long one.
  9. No, it's luareneng to the past. I can't help anybody with Tull DVD's. Solly.
  10. I agree!! He's an average looking guy like the rest of us.
  11. Couple of three weeks ago there were a bunch of ELO posts. I'm finally getting around to posting my ticket stub. The good news is I have some of the older stubs on this site, the bad news is I am one of the older bags around here. This was a stellar show, long before the large arenas and elaborate stage gear. A small venue at William Paterson College in Wayne, NJ, just up the street from my home. This show....I Just Can't Get It Out of My Head....Eldorado..dorado..dorado..dorado.....
  12. Are you serious? I would love to look like you. I'm always seeing good looking babes with similar looking men. I just always figured the guy must be a lot of fun to be around, funny, interesting, a good cook, low key, etc, etc.
  13. Sadly, there is NO start to finish concert released. There is NO quality footage from the classic Tull line-ups of the Aqualung (1971), Thick as a Brick(1972), A Passion Play(1973) or War Child (1974 and 1975) tours. Can you believe it?? Let's add 1976, 1977 and 1978 in the mix too. There is some decent stuff from 76 and 77 on youtube. The 1970 Isle of Wite DVD was released a couple of years ago. I only own the audio and quite enjoy it, warts and all. Everything Tull seems to release on DVD gets spliced and diced with added commentary by band members injected in the middle of a song. Ian thinks it would be boring to watch a performance start to finish. Back to your question, I would stick to the 20 or 25 year anniversay collections and I'm not even sure if both are on DVD. I suspect they are not easy to get.
  14. Another great tune from 1977. Martin Barre what an awesome guitar player. Hunting Girl
  15. Message to alwizard03 and dzldoc, Ian wore the red top hat in 1977 during the Songs From the Wood tour. Barrie Barlow wore a kilt. Regarding that tickets stub of al's, 1975 was the War Child tour. Here is a great video, probably posted before, but worth a second look. Velvet Green
  16. Hey Al, Where you stationed in NYC when tickets for these shows went on sale? I attended the first night on Friday. My friend went to the Garden and bought 4 tickets. Tickets must have sold out in minutes. How on earth did you attend so many out of state shows? Thanks, JT
  17. ^^^^^That chick is gorgeous!!!
  18. All of my stubs have been posted here......Gogomag
  19. I watched Kick Out the Jams, Rambling Rose and Looking at You. They were all excellent. I also watched a long version of Louie, Louie recorded in Stockholm in the early 70's. It was horrible and according to some of the comments, Wayne Kramer admitted being drunk during the performance. Did you know Handsome Dick Manitoba from The Dictators is currently touring with them (at least the ones that are left) and singing?
  20. I spent last night watching MC5 videos on youtube. WOW!!! What a riveting band.
  21. I've read SO MUCH about these guys and really should pick up something. One of my favs, The Dictators, idolized the MC5.
  22. It's touch and go. Depends on the song. Somewhere around 1984 Ian's had some throat problems and his singing voice changed. Some say it's was due to years of cigarette/pipe smoking. Ian says it is in part due to playing the flute and it's impact on the vocal chords.
  23. I bought 10 lottery tickets for tonight. 190 million dollars. This might sound crazy, but I think I'm gonna hit the jackpot tonight. 8:00 pm drawing. Just a weird feeling. I'm happy.
