I like the motorcycle at the end of Movin Out I liked River of Dreams when it was on the radio. But he's generally icky to me. He's just got kind of a bug eyed weird vibe I don't like. The songs are just okay, to me. Wait, was it a motorcycle or a car? Can't remember. I know he laid a patch, so you KNOW that bad boy piano man was serious!

My daughter and I were coming out of the grocery store and I accidentally bumped her arm with my keys. She said (in a loud voice), "Mother! Why do you strike me!?" I cracked up. The other day we were in another store and I thought no one was nearby, so I joined in with her silly walk ( ala Monty Python) down the aisle. A woman came around the corner with her cart and gave me a look that could have killed a small child

Um. Well I have no beef with Canada. I've only been across the border a couple of times and didn't see much. I'd love to visit the cities. I do have to admit that the border agent the first time was very scary and mean. I had a Wisconsin license, but Minnesota plates....or was it the other way around, can't remember- it was 20 years ago. I moved from WI to MN and took a little trip right afterwards. Maybe I should have waited until I had my shit in order. In fact, I definately should have. Anyway, the guy interrogated me (and I do mean interrogated) for hours and said that my answers were lies and stuff. It was crazy and yes, I cried He would ask me a question and I'd answer it (my name, my age, where I lived, etc) and then he'd ask me the same question again and I'd answer it again, but he said it wasn't the same answer I gave before (even though it was)! He was yelling at me and saying I was lying. I was so freaked out. Even so, it doesn't make me judge the whole country, for Pete's sake. Canada (what little I've seen) was pretty, and the Canadians I've met were all very nice.

I just laughed my ass off. I knocked on my teenager's door and asked if I could come in. She said, "Yeah," and I came in. There she sat playing her guitar....with her pants around her ankles! She said, "It's not what you think- my guitar kept slipping on my pants, so I just pulled them down." I said, "Well, I'm sure you're not the first." I am still laughing.

I remember being afraid of a picture of Robert Plant that a local radio station used. He was at the top of a collage of rock stars, and he looked like Marty Feldman. It looked like he had one eye lookin' this way, and the other eye lookin' that way Yikes. The sideburns didn't do it for me either, but I was just a little kid. Man, the bands looked weird back then when you think about it. They still play the hell out of Zeppelin here, but alas it is not as many songs as they used to. I don't even know if they still play whole sides of albums anymore, but they used to do that with LZ a lot in the 80's, and I think the 90's, too. One thing I'll never understand is why The Rain Song wasn't a bigger hit. Was it overseas?
