  1. I am not anti- stairway, it is just that I tire of it quickly because it is played so much. However, I still listen to it whenever it comes on and don't change the channel, just anything to hear Zeppelin!
  2. Interesting choices there reids! I personally think Christina would do very well if they wanted a female singer. She could certainly hit all of the high notes!!
  3. I also like "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "A Very Brady Christmas".
  4. Whoa, that is one hell of an analysis there dude!
  5. I went to Burlington Coat Factory this morning and found the exact type of coat I was looking for! I was so happy and I also got me a new purse, I love purses!! Now all of my Christmas shopping is done. Mom and I put up our Christmas tree and now things are looking so festive!! I am really ready for the holiday and will get a week off from work, yay!!
  6. Time of the Season-The Zombies
  7. No, how embarrassing though! HYE fallen down and gotten back up quickly in hopes that no one saw you?
  8. Then that makes her tied with Alison then! I just checked Wikipedia and they both have 21 Grammys each to date. Go ladies!!!!!!
  9. Yep, can't ever forget about Aretha, that's for sure! I was referring to the fact that Alison has won more than any other female but Aretha has won her fair share too.
  10. Great pics aen27. I love the top one especially, never seen it before!
  11. My thoughts exactly and also coupled with the fact that Alison is the ultimate Grammy darling, they just can't go wrong and of course it being such a wonderful album! I think they will do very well and I also hope they perform on Grammy night. That would be such a treat!
  12. One of my absolute favorite Zeppelin songs, hey, make that songs of all time! I also love their performance at Knebworth 1979. I think it is just brilliant. It is time for me to crank up "Presence" again since I haven't listened to the CD in a while.
  13. That DVD you saw was her "A Hundred Miles or More" recording session that was taken from her CD that was released in 2007 and it features duets with John Waite, James Taylor and Brad Paisley. I saw the show on GAC (Great American Country) and it is excellent, I think you would enjoy it. Certainly worth checking out. I hope there will be a DVD released of the Raising Sand tour as well. Thanks for sharing motherhen. I saw that on the internet and was very happy about that!
  14. Today I heard, The Wanton Song, Heartbreaker and Good Times, Bad Times-96.3 WROV
  15. Now that would be very nice! It would be great to see Alison back at the Opry since she hasn't been there in a while. Perhaps there is room on her 2009 calendar and she will bring Robert and Ralph along. I will keep hoping!
  16. How can someone have a "mystery ingredient" when every detail about their life is in the media 24/7????? She is the epitome of a manufactured, corporate controlled artist. It was a shame how the paps followed her around like a pack of wolves while she just grinned and played along, so thank goodness her father stepped in and is trying to get things under some sort of control. I am all for someone getting their life back together, and I honestly hope she makes progress. I am just so over her now, like "another comeback?", whatever Britney!
  17. I live with my mom and my older brother who lives close, comes over during Christmas day. We just eat, talk about music, movies, current events and have a great time. It is less stressful than years ago when the whole family was together, although I do miss those times. We have lots of fun reminiscing.
  18. Agreed, Buddy is amazing! I would love to hear the song Robert recorded for the new album. Also, Robert's venture into the Americana scene has really sparked my interest and has opened me up to listening to some other great stuff that I otherwise may not have listened to on my own.
  19. Thanks for the info. I will have to pick this one up. Sounds like a great read.
