  1. This may need to be on reserve for me for a while. I still need to get Pneumonia to round out their collection, etc.
  2. I guess you could call me a moderate fan. I only have Meat Is Murder and Louder Than Bombs and I like them. Still need to here The Queen is Dead and some of Morrissey's solo shit, although it sounds very hit-and-miss from what I've heard. Probably more miss than hit.
  3. Love my Beatles. I'm constantly torn between Revolver or Abbey Road being my favorite record.
  4. They're surely very influential upon hard rock etc. but I've never been a fan of Purple, Blackmore or Rainbow. I find the groups to be cheesy and pretentious (Blackmore, mainly). Not my cup of tea.
  5. I'm not a big fan, but they sound great every once in a while. I like Murmur okay and Automatic For the People has flashes of brilliance. That's all I've heard from them, minus the singles.
  6. I love Stranger's Almanac a lot too, in fact it was my first record by them. I recently got Faithless Street and I already think I prefer it. I think it's truly the record that makes him sound like "Gram Parson's heir" that I had read about frequently. It's got poorer production values than SA, but I think it's to the album's advantage. I like its grittier, more unpolished sound. And I don't really hear the Eagles-like harmonies in that Jayhawks album. In fact, it's probably one of the reasons why I like it so much. It sounds refreshing.
  7. Nice choice. Might I suggest their Tomorrow The Green Grass album aswell?
  8. What hasn't been said about ABB, especially their At Fillmore East album. It's one of the best live albums ever.
  9. The Stones fucking ruled, but I can only listen to them in small doses. I think it's Jagger. If they would've, liked died in 1978 they would've been flawless. All joking aside, of course, but I haven't really gave a shit about their material of the last, um, 30 years or so. But it's nice to see them still touring and recording and shit, I guess. At least they're out promoting new albums while they tour, unlike The Eagles who've been doing it for like 15 years until they released that recent turd of an album.
  10. I listened to one of their records a year or two ago and it bore me to tears. Not my cup of tea, I guess.
  11. This is really from the couple months or so... I hadn't bought anything in a longass time up until then... (Full discography) (Full discography)
