  1. -"Illinois became the 13th state to recognize classic-rock-related automobile decorations as grounds for waiver of a warrant." What other classic-rock-bands are targeted in all these states? What are the 13 states? Are they aware yet of what "Reggae-related" stickers might wickedly imply?
  2. I heard Joe Benson announce it during his show a coupla days ago, that it was Page & Jones; that they will reminisce about their first rehearsal (or something like that) among other things. Maybe the website is a mistake (or not, I dunno).
  3. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned already but Jimmy Page & John Paul Jones are supposed to be featured on: "Off the Record" with Joe Benson June 29th, Sunday: 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM 95.5-KLOS, Los Angeles Hope that somebody can capture it as I don't have the capabilities.
  4. OK, I might have an idea that'll please everyone. (fingers-crossed) How about that go back to what the original name would have been had they not been concered with it's pronounciation. Everybody knows now how it's supposed to be pronounced (thus it shouldn't be a problem), soooooo.......Here it goes: Lead Zeppelin!!!
  5. Greetings y'all! This is my first post. I've been checkin' out this forum since 11/07. Thanks to you all for the information & love of music. Anyway I just wanted to point out that Morrison actually could use his voice as an instrument. He does it quite literally on the song "Cars Hiss By My Window" on the "LA Women" album. What sounds like a real harmonica solo is actually him mimicing one with just his voice. It's awesome! He performs it in the way his wished he could actually play the harmonica, 'cause he wasn't very good at it. But Plant is! I'm glad Plant quoted him.
