Bingo. Maybe it's me being bitchy, but, really, they're asking to let it go, yet still make little snide comments - as if we can't read.

People who get what they want, yet still make sly digs and complaints regarding it. Why is it that when you call them on it, they insist that they're the victim and want no trouble? Learn to keep your mouth shut, and you'll get no trouble.

I don't want to think about that right now. I can't. I want to chalk it up to madness, but the man had both garments in his wardrobe at one time. What was he thinking? He is the only man I've seen that has the ability to look both beautiful and like he just dressed in the dark. That's a gift. Not many men can do that.

It ended a while back. To be honest, whatever had to be resolved already has. There's no need to bother with my post anymore. I appreciate that you may have felt like that, but some of us have felt like we were unable to visit that thread for weeks, possibly months. I know I had. I think I speak for most people when I say that we come here to have a bit of lighthearted fun and to 'escape'. There's no fun in reading smutty comments. Some of us respect him enough to realise that not only may he have friends and family reading on his behalf, but he may not appreciate it himself. It's like I said earlier, for me, it wasn't so much about the comments (althought they played their part), but the flippant attitude some people took afterwards. It very much seemed to be a matter of 'deal with it or piss off' (my interpretation). Of course, such words were never spoken, but that was the tone I picked up on - particularly with the 'newer' posters. I don't like fighting, but, just like you were able to comment on photos of Jimmy, I wanted to point out that not all of us enjoy reading those comments. We're all fans of his - some of us just prefer to keep our appreciation down to a minimum. I'm sorry if what I said hurt or upset anyone. I'll no doubt piss someone else off with what I've just said, but it's too late here for me to even care. You get to say your peace; I get to say mine. And I fully agree with you, Aqua. You always beat me to it

Well, at least you now know how we felt What really bothers me is the sheer lack of consideration regarding this situation. This is a site for everyone. Only some of you didn't think about that. And, in effect, we got pushed out of this thread. Why should we have had to start a new thread just because a few of you weren't considerate enough to realise that we aren't all outrageous Jimmy fan-girls? Do you think you're the only ones here who adore the man? That you're the only ones who fancy him? Men and women visit this site - young and old alike. You could've at least respected that. Only you didn't and now you're the ones acting all hard done by once we asked if you'd just tone down your, frankly, rather disrespectful and creepy (at times) comments. He may have appreciated such comments back in his youth, but he's now a grandfather pushing 66 - I wouldn't be if surprised if he, and his family, weren't embarrassed by such comments. There's no doubt he would feel that way if you said as much to him in the street. What's worse is that none of you sound genuinely sorry about any of this. Some of you come across as rather flippant in your attitude, as if it were your right to say what you wanted and when, which is a shame because you weren't the only one's who liked to visit this thread.
