  1. Circus - February 28, 1981: I'll make a post-1980 exception for this one since it covers the "official" end of Led Zeppelin as it happened.
  2. Circus - May 13, 1976 Circus - June 9, 1977
  3. Circus Time: Circus - October 1973: Circus - March 1974:

  6. Thanks to everyone who posted to this topic (and for future posters as well). A few years back I posted a slew of magazine articles to another forum. In the spirit of this forum topic, and in the hope of encouraging more people to post their 1968-1980 collections, I've brought them here as well: First Post: HIT PARADER MAGAZINE Hit Parader - December 1968 Hit Parader - July 1969 Hit Parader - May 1970 combined:
  7. Here's another photo of the beautiful Virginia that was posted in the photos forum: Virginia --- thanks for spending some time with us!

  9. Joe --- Is there any way you could post that Liverpool '71 stub (I noticed it's not represented on this site)? It would also be pretty cool if you could post some of those concert reviews from your UK mags. Thanks.
  10. The Boston Tea Party was housed at two locations. The first location was at 53 Berkeley Street. It opened on January 20, 1967 with a performance by The Lost. The first location on 53 Berkeley Street closed on July 11, 1969 with performances by The Velvet Underground, Country Funk, and Quill. The very next night, July 12, 1969, the nightclub The Ark, located behind Fenway Park at 15 Lansdowne Street, was renamed the Boston Tea Party and reopened with a performance by Larry Coryell, Country Funk, and The Quill. The decision to close the Lansdowne Boston Tea Party club was made on Thursday, December 31, 1970. Here's a link to a photo of Robert Plant backstage at the Boston Tea Party (Jan. 69): http://www.facebook....&type=3 And here's yet another "new" photo of Jimmy at the BTP in January '69: http://www.facebook....&type=3
  11. k2yhe made the question moot, but the crosses in the background of both photos looked identical to me (I cropped both photos for an easier a to b comparison). In the two photos you posted, the Bonham photo is too close to clearly see the side wall in the background of the photo, and the Page photo shows the opposite side wall.
  12. If you were to believe this site they are: http://k2yhe.blogspot.com/2011/01/led-zepplin-at-boston-tea-party-1969.html The same photographer (Roger Thomas) also had a few other rare Boston Tea Party of JPJ (see photo 6) and Robert (see photo 22): http://k2yhe.blogspot.com/2011/01/photos-by-roger-l-thomas.html Roger Thomas did light shows at the Boston Tea Party, so it's pretty safe to say these are from the Boston Tea Party. Here's a photo of Roger: http://www.flickr.com/photos/k2yhe/6118161233/ Here's a clearer version of one of Roger Thomas's Boston Tea Party photos (the one listed above was a reverse negative): Here's a picture taken backstage at the BTP; it looks like the bench could be similar to the ones in the Page backstage photos: Above Page's head in the stage shot, the cross on the wall looks just like the one on this Boston Tea Party photo: By the way, I don't think Bonzo has a double bass, it's just the angle. He didn't use double bass drums until the summer of '69.
  13. This photo is definitely from the Tyrone Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 18, 1969.
  14. The 7/13/69 jam session occured at the Singer Bowl (not The New York State Pavilion where the 8/29 & 8/30/69 shows were held). Here's a good shot of the Singer Bowl stadium (the amphitheatre someone mentioned in a previous post was a completely different venue): Here are a few press reports of the Singer Bowl jam at the Vanilla Fudge & Jeff Beck show on 7/13/69: Here's a picture of the inside of New York State Pavilion (where Zep performed on 8/29 & 8/30/69): Here are some shots of the exterior of the New York State Pavilion: Here are a few other shots of the Fair grounds:
