  2. Just finished reading my Dazed and Confused by Chris Welch....found a few goodies there I haven't seen before and thought ya'll might enjoy it as well, so here's a few scans:
  3. it looks great Chell! color it! now.... how come you never showed us you got it girl! oh and Gina- 10x
  4. Lol, thanks Chell….flattery will get you everything! I've been drawing since kindergarten (of course the subject then was princess in frilly dresses). This major leap in realism and accuracy (if you can call it that…) happened in the last 2 years or so, the major improvement came with Robert as a muse. Well don't be scared of color, I know I was but you just have to throw yourself into it…fumble through errors till you get it right. I suggest you'd start with colored pencils (they are the easiest) and then move into pastels (water color, oils and etc are still a bitch for me).
  5. this scene has a somewhat hipnotic power...
  6. I just adore the faces he's pulling...lol
  7. Just finished yesterday Anne Rice's: "The Mummy or Ramses the Damned" (I've probably read it like 12 times already, but it's always a good read). I'm a big big Rice fan....to bad she's gone somewhat mental in the last decade. I really miss her vintage Lestat and the whole immortal trop pieces.
  8. your'e simply a wiz! thanks luv
  9. yeah well....you know know where I found this one...so cute...damnable watermark!
  10. I'm just messing around....
  11. Fan-bloody-tastic Chell, I love you so much! Now how am I supposed to go to work with this goofy smile on my face? lol
  12. My oh my...thank the gods, I don't think Robert knew the concept of underwear back in the 70's!
  13. Christ, I'm so freaking tiered, worked for 6 and a half hours straight…non stop on this one. First Jimmy drawing for me! he's such a sexy beast he is....
  14. Oh come on post them up! I wanna see. I use Derwent, Stabilo and Faber-Castell, for paper it can be anything from a simple A4 to fancy cardboard….but for the pastels you have to use Ingres paper, otherwise it'll be hard next to impossible to get good results (on Ingres the powder from pastels clings better to the page).
  15. Thank you luv and everybody else who commented, it means so much from true fans of the Golden god For the colored drawings I use pastel pencils, on the B&W pieces I work with graphite pencils (from B to 8B or F to 6F), a couple of times I add inking with black CD markers or pigment liners.
  16. Thanks luv, you give me too much credit- let's face it how much talent do you really need to draw such beauty and presence?
  17. I call it The Godfather of Rock ...or The brother-in-law, or the sad uncle of rock as Mr. Plant would have it. it took me like forever to complete.
  18. "Don't Follow", it somehow takes a much more strong meaning now that LS is dead, it has a sort of self awareness that it's so fucked up to hell and that the end is imminent. it makes me sad.
  19. Wow, Percy is quite tall…I read somewhere he's about 6.1 feet (186.0 meters)... that leaves dear Jonesy with only around 170ish to stand with by the looks of this pic.
