Well, that was probably the shortest amount of time I ever spent on a forum. I saw a topic titled 'Newbies" and thought I'd introduce myself there. Guess I was wrong.
  2. Back in the 80s in high school I'd show up to football practice with my Led Zeppelin t-shirt on. People would call me a freak and a burner. I would ask them politely if they ever heard a note of Led Zeppelin's music. They would say..."Oh yeah...ummm..didn't they do the teenage wasteland song?" I'd tell them "Yeah, they did." then I'd laugh my ass off. I didn't have the heart to inform them that Baba O'riley was a Who song.
  3. The Grateful Dead. No offense to fans of the Grateful Dead. I just don't "get it."
  4. Cold and cloudy here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. At least it isn't snowing!
  5. I might be wrong but I don't think Led Zeppelin ever had an opener. I guess my pick would be Jeff Beck.

Hello, I just came across this forum via search engine. I'm a Led Zeppelin fan from way back! I used to "borrow" my brother's 8-track of LZ4 back when I was 7 years old- LZ4 was new back then so you get the idea how old I am (He was 10 years older than me and would kick my arse!) Sadly, I never had the opportunity to see them live. Led Zeppelin 4 was my introduction to Led Zeppelin. I loved it (and still do!) As soon as I was old enough to have a job I purchased every domestic release by Led Zeppelin. Physical Graffiti is my favorite Led Zeppelin album. Just happy to be here!
