1. Oh lordy that sounds like a good show... any advice on getting a boot of this?
2. Wow... Japan's getting all the Jimmy-luv, ain't it? Two part interview on YouTube; the questions are translated at the top right Part one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Apv1kvkAK_Q...feature=related Part two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92CAnUWmf_g...feature=related
3. Fabulous and haunting I love it. From the original poster: "I'm glad you like it! I thought nobody did... I found all this footage on a website of Enver Hoxha's death in Albania in 1985. And I thought the footage was so weird that it would make a great film clip for No Quarter. So I ripped the video off the website, did some re-editing and stuck the music track on."
4. Billy Connelly. I think Orlando Bloom could pull off a young Percy pretty well... but there's only so long I can spend searching through Orlando Bloom pictures online and still claim to be straight
5. To Robert: You are my Elvis. Now, how about bringing Jimmy / Alison / Sensation to Minneapolis sometime soon? To Jimmy: .... actually I'd probably be too starstruck to say anything coherent, but i'm pretty sure the words "Rain Song" and "Wonderful One" would eventually come out. To Jones: A bass player walks into a library and says: "Hi I'll have a burger, fries, and a large coke." The librarian responds: Sshhhh....do you know where you are? This is a library!" The bass player sheepishly whispers: "Sorry....I'll have a burger, fries and a large coke"
6. I'm a regular lurker at Zombie Squad. ZS is an elite zombie extermination force ("we make dead things deader"). Good bunch of folks with a tongue in cheek approach to disaster preparedness; something I developed an interest in after Katrina. "Our goal is to educate the public about the importance of personal preparedness and self reliance, to increase its readiness to respond to disasters such as Earthquakes, Floods, Terrorism or Zombie Outbreaks. We want to make sure you are prepared for any crisis situation that might come along in your daily life which may include having your face eate
7. Damn. Didn't realize he was that young. Saw him once at the Minnesota State Fair in 1990. A buddy and I were working security at the fair that year (that was one well guarded parking lot I tell you) and snuck in to the concert at the grandstand. He put on an amazing show; brought the house down with Stevie Ray Vaughn's "Crossfire" in tribute to the guitarist who had just passed the day before. r.i.p.
8. Thanks for the responses! I'll have to take a closer look at the bridge next time I'm in the shop. Actually I should have a buddy check out the hardware on it for me beforehand. This'll be my first electric; I'm really just looking for something affordable (and great sounding) that won't fall apart or be an embarrassment in a year. Now if anyone can recommend a good baritone ukulele I'll be golden. ~Locke
9. In my obsessive pouring over of the Led Zep double DVD I couldn't help but notice the slick black guitar Jimmy was playing during "White Summer" at the Royal Albert Hall, and again during "In My Time of Dying" at Earl's Court. According to Wikipedia, this was a 1959 Danelectro. Well, slap my behind and call me Sally, but I spotted a few for sale at a local guitar store. I could barely contain my excitement at the possibility of owning a guitar also owned by my chief idol; but common sense butted in and I thought I'd
