  1. I'm selling all of my Beatles CD's and deleting all the mp3's off of my computer for the remasters. I'll be getting Abbey Road, Revolver and Past Masters and re-buying Rubber Soul, The White Album and Let it Be.
  2. I saw AC/DC on January 5th. Angus looked more white-haired than usual but the show was top notch! Does anyone else find Jailbreak to be a really underrated song?
  3. I've lost 15 pounds since mid-late June!
  4. Not technically purchased yet, but I am getting The Who: Live at Leeds for my birthday this Wednesday. I've listened to Amazing Journey, Substitute and Magic Bus from that album on Youtube and I'm in love. Keith Moon is a beast of a drummer.
  5. Last listened to Lazy by Deep Purple. One of the best keyboard songs ever.
  6. I saw AC/DC in January and had a great time. Hopefully I'll catch Heaven and Hell at the Nautica Pavilion in Cleveland this August.
  7. His concert with Ringo last week sold out in 7 seconds.
  8. I think the Love remixes of "Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows" and "Strawberry Fields Forever" are the best Beatles songs. The lyrics to Within You Without You are really deep and go perfect with the other songs' instrumentation, and the end of Strawberry Fields blends just right with the end of Hello, Goodbye.
  9. I bought Mothership three days ago and The Beatles "Love" the day before that.
  10. Cleveland 98.5 Classic rock radio: "Houses of the Holy" around 2:30pm.
  11. I've listened to almost all of those and I just don't like it. Jazz might be complex, but it bores the hell out of me.
  12. Barracuda sounded much more like Keep Yourself Alive by Queen than Achilles Last Stand. Jazz? I don't have time for that elevator music. And Achilles is not complex for the sake of being so.
  13. "Hot" does not necessarily equate to "mainstream," which Frampton Comes Alive was.c And I thought after Rolling Stone's countless acts of jackassery, people would ignore their opinions. I was wrong.
  14. Because Presence (the album Achilles is on) is the most overshadowed album in the history of music. When Zeppelin released it, interest in older rock bands was at an all-time low. Punk was hot, Zeppelin were not. And Presence still doesn't get the praise it deserves. It is their most consistent and progressive album. And, they only released one single from the album. Achilles wasn't on it, probably to preserve the awesome experience of listening to the whole album.
  15. Meet me in the morning - Bob Dylan
  16. The Knebworth version most people have heard is pretty touched-up, though. The best performances were from the Tour Over Europe and some from 1977.
  17. Strange. Kashmir is eight minutes of the same few movements. It's pretty boring to me. While Achilles is fast, progressive, and unpredictable.
  18. Most Zeppelin fans don't [consider STH the best] either. You're not alone. I simply thing The Rain Song and ALS are tied as Zeppelin's best songs. STH is too boring for me. Kashmir kind of seems like an "ode to forever" and wanders around aimlessly.
  19. Achilles is fast, epic, and includes Jimmy's best solo. No, I didn't say "one of the best." The best. It also has an awesome galloping bassline from Jones, something you don't hear often.
