  1. Hey Hotplant! You're welcome. Glad you're back and your box is open. If you need more pics just PM me. Lovely to "see" you here too sister.
  2. Hiya Hotplant, If this one (not my photo) isn't the one you want, I have several others I can send you: When Robert turned around to grab the washboard behind him the pick with the string attached to the washboard dropped out of his hand and he did a kind of quick move with his body and his hand to catch the pick in the air...all so familiar to me, in that instant he could have been the Robert of 30 years ago.
  3. Hey doll, I tried to send you a PM and got a response that you're unable to use the message system...I'll email you. xo

  4. Thanks PlanetPage! Likewise! :)

  5. Happy Birthday PlanetPage! Have a great day!

  6. You really know your Jimmy looks, PlanetPage! I was at a few LZ and ARMS concerts and I have to admit that I struggle to identify some of the hair styles and outfits from the different years. Thank you...I hope you can catch him on the next leg of his N.A. tour. You're welcome, aen27. Ladies, I am sorry to say but I was told to "cool it" as far as talking about the scarves (and the dog collars)...it seems I was fanning the flames too hard for some people's taste...
  7. I think you're both right...to be honest I know very little about the later and post LZ years. This is not my photobucket so I don't know how long these pics will be up...but the scarf Jimmy is wearing here looks similar to the one he had on at the ARMS concerts:
  8. You're welcome, Aquamarine. There are several other pics from that night floating around. I used to think they were taken in the back room of Max's in 1977 (because of the chicken wings and Jimmy's appearance) but someone told me the pics were taken in L.A. I think Jimmy is attempting to eat.
  9. Aquamarine, someone just told me that it is Sam Cutler, the former tour manager for the Stones.
  10. Odd that the caption identified him as JPJ when it clearly isn't him. One of my friends initially thought it was Bonzo too but this man's build is smaller.
  11. This photo was originally labeled as JPJ with JP. I'm bad with faces but this doesn't look at all like JPJ to me. Could this be an early pic of John Ward with Jimmy? Was he with the band then? In Montreal? (Edited to move to a different photobucket account)
  12. Yes - I also put "LR" in the description because I thought that might be Lou Reed in the back, between Andy and Jimmy.
  13. If Richard Cole's purpose in staging an online fan meeting is to promote his book (or himself) it might have been more effective if he responded right on his FB fan page rather than via individual emails to each fan who posed a question.
  14. Have a great vacation. Love, your "zep cliquette" sister. ;) xo

  15. The LZ years were a wonderfully light-hearted time and, no, you weren't the only one having fun - I imagine there were at least one or two others who were having fun too.
  16. Hi George, I am fairly certain that Jimmy Page purchased the Tower House in either 1971 or 1972. I remember that when I first saw him, he already owned the house or was in the process of purchasing it. The fact that he owned such a magnificent home was astounding to me at the time and the memory has stayed with me. I haven't looked at it in along time but my original pressing of LZIII is not a gatefold; it has a revolving wheel on the side. Is the image of the castle on the wheel?~MSG Edited to add: I didn't see Steve's post when I responded; I might be confusing the Boleskine House with the Tower House.
  17. Hi Mr. Jones. Thanks for your quick and very interesting response. LZ's activities in the studio (Electric Ladyland?) were much more significant than my friends and I ever could have imagined.
  18. No, they don't... Question: When LZ were in the NYC area for their '72 concerts at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, between concerts, they went back into NYC and at one point were at a recording studio...I think, the Electric Ladyland Studios. As far as music, what, if anything, did they do there? I used to think it had something to do with "The Drone", either recording it there or editing a recording they made of it (either at the Coliseum or a studio in England?).
  19. Girls, please. Vertical or horizontal...when it came to the Zep guys...it didn't matter...
  20. Found 'em! You really made me search for these. What a beautiful baby! As pretty as her name. Gorgeous blue eyes. She obviously takes after her grandma. Oh and her daddy is cute too - he reminds me of my son. Our kids have great genes.
  21. I don't know where or when that photo was taken but I never remember Robert's teeth being as bad as they look in that pic so I'm wondering if it's due to the lighting or the angle. I do remember that his teeth weren't exactly straight and one tooth on the side was slightly out and over one of his front teeth but my friends and I thought that was so cute, so endearing (you can see a bit of it in the photo below - although given the rest of the pic, who would notice the teeth?). To be honest, during the Zep years, none of us really scrutinized his teeth! Or Jimmy's teeth. When they walked into a room, everything else about them, including the sexy vibe and aura they projected, completely eclipsed the cosmetic. One of my old friends and I were talking about the time the Zep guys walked into a venue in our home city and the entire atmosphere in the room changed. I don't even have the words to explain what that felt like but I've never forgotten the feeling.
