  1. In a Kristin Hannah book Winter Garden. One of the women remembers how her husband and she danced to Stairway to Heaven on prom night.
  2. I've been playing the game Skyrim for a year, but I never read the note in one of the motels. To cut the story short, the owner woman sleeps arond and there is a note from one of her lovers on the desk. ''Last night was the most wonderful night of my life. The things you showed me... the things we did... I could never have dreamt that it was possible. Who even knew that someone could manipulate their body in that manner while wearing Daedric armor boots? You are a true master of the Dibellan Arts, my love... a credit to your religion. Perhaps we'll meet again soon but next time, allow me to bring the trout.'' Probably a referance to the famous Red Snapper incident in Seattle.
  3. Ritchie Blackmore after leaving Deep Purple 1975. ''I wasn't happy with the last American Tour.We didn't sell out. They told me it was the recession, then Led Zeppelin sold out every hall in the country''
  4. From Duff McKaggan's (Guns 'n Roses) autobiography 'It's so easy'. I had seen Refuzor (Seattle punk legend) flyers up around town and instantly recognized him when he said hello as we walked into the room. To me, this was like meeting someone from Led Zeppelin.
  5. Yea,he wasn't really a r'n'r kind of guy.More like Sinatra and big bands.
  6. I don't know where to post this question, but here it is: During the 70's,did Johny Carson or Dick Cavet or anyone on similar tv shows comment on Led Zeppelin events. I can imagine Carson in monologs mentioning LZ...
  7. No way.I love Ringo,i'm just pointing out what he said about John Bonham's drum solos. Sad thing about the Beatles is that they stoped performing live (to much screaming and all the hustle). What ever Lennon said about Ringo's drumming...remember it came from a man who worshiped that creature Yoko.
  8. Ringo left the band at one time while they ware recording one of the two last albums. So Paul did the drums for one or few songs.

  10. Nicole Scherzinger said she played some Zeppelin to get her in the mood for a role of a bad girl in the new Men in Black 3 movie. Also Ringo Star said that Bonzo never knocked him out with his drumming. He must be pissed of how only few people consider him a great drummer. He said that with the remastered Beatles albums you can finally hear the drumms, and that people can appreciate his talent. He then felt he should attack the greatest (?!) to make him self feel great.Pathetic.
  11. On the official Manchester United TV:Kashmir, the original album version is played in the announcement for FA Cup game Man.Utd. vs Man. City on Sunday.
  12. Just remembered a thing on MTV with Dave Navarro and Carmen Electra (some 'reality' show). They started jamming and Carmen played the drums, When the Levee breaks. She was pretty good for a Playboy (ups,my boobs are out) model. But Navarro did some stupid guitar solo.
