  1. I think Roll the bones is very underrated. Presto has some amazing songs but it sounds a bit too 80's at times, Counterpart is good but not one of my favourite. Test for echoes is underrated too, the song Resist is beautiful.
  2. Foo Fighters - In Your Honour Manic Street Preachers - Send Away The Tigers Pearl Jam - Binaural U2 - Elevation Tour 2001 Live from Boston DVD Lou Reed - Live at Montreaux DVD
  3. I love Rush!!! I liked 2112 and had a couple of albums of them in mp3 a few years ago, but didn't care too much about them, in fact I couldn't stand Geddy's voice that much, until I saw the Rush in Rio dvd and it blew my mind. I've became a fan since then and started to get their albums and dvds, they're amazing live. They were obviously very influenced by Led Zeppelin at the begging but soon they evolve into their own sound, more progressive, although they've changed a lot through the years. My favourite albums are all the ones from 2112 to Moving Pictures. I think the last 2 were also great.
  4. Their first to albums are great, but the last one sucks. If they want to grow as a band and get recognized they have to keep releasing good albums instead of crap like Gay and age, they won't knock Led Zep and Nirvana out of their pedestals sounding like the Pet Shop Boys.
  5. Rush - Vapor Trails Jimi Hendrix Experience - Axis: Bold As Love Stereophonics - Language. Sex. Violence. Other? Paul McCartney - The McCartney Years DVD
  6. 1. The Beatles 2. Pink Floyd 3. Led Zeppelin 4. Genesis 5. The Who 6. Queen 7. ELP 8. Aerosmith 9. Rush 10. The Jimi Hendrix Experience
  7. I love them, even the Phil Collins era wich gets bashed a lot. My favourite album is The lamb lies down on Broadway.
  8. I forgot about Simon & Garfunkel, I like them too
  9. I'm not a folk fan, but I like Bob Dylan a lot and some stuff by The Byrds
  10. I know what mean you cos that's what I hate about some bands, but that's not the case with ELP in my opinion. Plus not all his music was about technical viruosity, listen to Greg Lake's ballads for example like Lucky Man, there's not virtuosism at all there.
  11. 1. Paul McCartney 2. John Paul Jones 3. John Entwhistle
  12. I also like his voice in Modern Times, although it sounds "froggy", the problem to me is when he sings live. Another completely annoying singer is Thom Yorke, I can't stand him!!! His voice makes me want to kill him to end his suffering! At least on all Radiohead albums since Kid A, on the first 3 albums his singing was a bit more normal I'd say, not so exagerated so it fit in the songs, but now it's awfull, I'm not a fan of their latest stuff but that bitching voice makes it even worse.
  13. Paul McCartney - Flowers in the dirt Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are you experienced
  14. He's a better singer now? Have you heard him live recently??? I saw him last month, his voice is completely destroyed.
  15. I think Yoko's voice is completely annoying, I don't hate her or anything but I just can't stand his voice. I like Bob Dylan's voice when he was young, he was never a good singer but I just love how his voice sound on some of his songs.
  16. You're right about that, it's a shame. I watched their In The Begging DVD and I realized how HUGE they were back in the 70's, and now everybody I spoke about them doesn't even have a clue about who they are. By the way, that DVD it's amazing, it's got a lot of live stuff. Now I'm thinking of getting Pictures at an exhibition on DVD.
  17. 1. Paul McCartney 2. John Entwhistle 3. John Paul Jones
  18. Sorry to disagree but I prefer Genesis to King Crimson, at least the 70's stuff
  19. I love Aqualung and Benefit, Thick as a brick and A Passion Play are great too
  20. I love all their albums from 1969 to 1974, especially Red and In The Court Of The Crimson King. I couldn't get into their albums form the other eras, like Discipline or The Power To Believe, but maybe I haven't listened to them enough. I only liked some stuff from The Construktion of Light, wich most people seem to dislike...
