  1. All you need to do is mention Will Shade in the same sentence and most Zep fans will get ready to pounce! BTW Bonzo was fond of Saabs as well...
  2. Peter "Dougal" Butler seems to be the source for this info. He mentions it in his book about Keith and I guess if it's in print, it's fact.. eight ?! Not handy at the moment, but I'll look thru Mick Bonham's book and see if there's any mention of that car in there.
  3. Yeah Steve, how dare you make all these Zeppelin related posts in a Zeppelin forum?!?!?! What I really want to know is what do you know about Robert's grooming habits, Jimmy's occult dabblings, Jones' phone number and where can I find some hot pictures of Jason?!!!! Now as far as TSRTS goes, I do not have the time to really watch it as my multitasking abilities have been dulled by repetitive " Which Zep Song you like best?" polls, are there any new crotch shots of Robert I should be on the lookout for? Thanks for your very informative and thought provoking posts.
  4. Steve, On disc 3 of the Dave Shulps interview starting at 19:00 ish Jimmy speaks briefly about the HOTH album cover. He does not mention the specific inspiration for it but does say that Hipgnosis was involved and of course mentions the known troubles with color and all. However in another interview in 1977 Titled 'Jimmy Hotel 1977' for which I do not have specific details as far as date & interviewer he does indeed mention the Midwich Cuckoos....not everyone kept details and notes like you. Have a listen here: http://nechtytla.tripod.com/midwichkuku.MP3 tripod's funny, you may need to save it to your hd first to listen. So not necessarily mentioned as an inspiration, but more so that the children remind them of the movie. So does this still remain a mystery ? Also, any trainspotters out there that can indentify that interview, done on the 11th floor of a hotel whislts waiting for burgers to quell that mystery ? I remain, Nech
