  1. Indeed, you do. Yes, i have. I don't mind it as long as the lumps are not burnt! HYE been to a Bruce Springsteen concert? (it can make your life feel wonderful, for a short time, anyway)
  2. Waiting for the Sun...The Doors
  3. lol, i did that to my ex. while we were eating Mexican food and i didn't hear the end of it for years! I thought it was funny!!! Have you ever let someone let you down hundreds of times and still keep going back for more?
  4. I did in my old house. I taught myself to garden and it became a passion. I miss it dearly. Although i have plenty of space for gardening, my yard would need a major clean-up first. No passion for doing that. My favorite planting i had was one of the most gorgeous rose bushes ever with hundreds of little pink flowers that smelled like sweet apples. The scent was carried to the neighbors houses it was so powerful (but delicious). TNPTP loves their career/profession.
  5. I enjoyed all three, but the first two were the best. Ummm, Neo... TNPTP is honest and loving.
  6. Thanks to all the courageous people who has been placing their lives in jeopardy for us common folk during this current war and all those from the past. I feel especially grateful to the youngest, like my friend DRUNK, who are so brave to join the service in such frightening times. Also, i hope my friend Rod Brown is doing well (a marine). My father was in the Air Force way back when (i'm gonna say it was 50 years ago!). He didn't see a war, but still i'm proud he served his country. and Happy Birthday to my daughter who was born on this day (but won't be joining the service if i can help it, )
  7. I may have said this one before, but since it's one of my favorite songs of all time New York City Serenade...The Boss

  16. Thanks, Virginia! We are about to take a bath with one of her favorite gifts, a Bratz bathtime doll! I'm sure you can relate to my happiness that (it's over!) Fun, but also stressful at times (all the planning)! and i hope Dzldoc enjoyed his day with mom...didn't take you for a momma's boy, lol JOKING of course!
  17. Exactly right. This time around (after eight hellish years) thanks to The Democrats (yeah!) being in control, again, we have a chance. Left with the worst mess imaginable, they have their work cut out for them. Any forward movement will be positive. At least McCain and Palin didn't get the chance to push us further back a century or two I love to read thoughtful posts from people outisde this country. It proves to me, too many blind Americans allowed us to wind up in this poor condition. At least more Americans had their say this vote! Good luck, America (and Obama/Biden Administration)! and to add one more thought, for The First LedZep (who probably doesn't even own a Led Zeppelin CD) ... funny thing, now that WE WON, TFLZ's useless garble doesn't bother me one bit! What a Stupid fool.
  18. While i like the show, not how i want my country to be run... This was the last eight years......now i hope we have learned our lessons and don't repeat history.
  19. My daughter's birthday party turned out really nice. 40 guests showed up (half were children). At first my daughter felt overwhelmed, but she soon joined in with the dance/activities. She loves all her great gifts! I'm happy she had a great time. Even happier it's over!
  20. Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses...U2
  21. More than 90,000? I drove drunk a few times when i was still a teenager. I remembered the drive, but did stupid things like the memory that stands out the most. I was at a light (i remember which one, too) and it was green and i waited for it to turn red and then i went. I had a few girlfriends (also drinking) with me, and none of us realized how "dangerous" it was for us. Thankfully, i managed to stay safe in those days (miraculous actually). HYE really gone down the wrong path?
  22. I became a huge Cure fan when i was watching a video channel (i don't recall the name, but you called in and gave requests, not any VHI or MTV show). So i'm watching this and the video for "A Letter To Elise" comes on. I loved the song instantly and went out and bought WISH, which was newly released (1992). Anytime my interest in a band is sparked i learn about them. It didn't take me long to purchase most of their albums. Favorite Cure songs: A Letter To Elise (my fav) others in random order: Trust, From The Edge of the Deep Green Sea, Apart, Doing the Unstuck, Plainsong, Pictures of You, Lovesong, Just Like Heaven, Catch, One More Time, A Thousand Hours, Play for Today, Charlotte Sometimes, Boys Don't Cry, Push, A Forest, In Between Days... Favorite Albums: Wish, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Show (live) and Paris (live), Disintegration, Mixed Up (great re-mixes), and Starring at the Sea. I have many Cure Videos (i think a total of 5) Sadly only saw them in concert once (Wild Mood Swings tour). Huge fan of Robert Smith and Simon Gallop! Most underrated awesome band imo.
