  1. Though I don't like any pics of Jimmy with cheap groupies,I love such pics of Jimmy with these gorgeous ladies.
  2. Great pictures! Thank you. aen27,me too After all, that girl was Jimmy's one night stand during the tour(like other many girls). For a while before I asked her name in another thread, but nobody knew. If she doesn't talk about Jimmy, she will not be called bimbo by Jimmy.
  3. Thank you aen27! These are nice pics. Young Jimmy was very cute, but I personally love matured Jimmy better than young Jimmy!
  4. I've read somewhere that this girl was only one of many Zeppelin groupies(like Pamela or Bebe etc). I guess it was a typical 'one night or one tour stand'. It was not very unusual for most musicians.
  5. Jimmy seemed to have tried various girls to find his true partner in those days. And at last he found her on his 26th birthday! It is written in Mick Wall's book that Jimmy's affair with Charlotte would remain in place a lot longer than his dalliance with the prettiest GTO. It was,in fact, the start of the first really significant love affair of the guitarist's life, and one he would remain true to even after the band had returned to the road in America. An almost unheard of sacrifice, even for the married men in the band, for Jimmy it was a sign of something much deeper. I think that this part is obviously true.
  6. Jimmy is so cute. Does anybody know when and where these pictures were taken? Who is the man next to Jimmy?
  7. Thanks, aen27! I always love your pictures.
  8. Yes,you would know well!! Jimmy received the two interviews of 'Music Life' and 'Rocking On' in May 1982. In 'Music Life', a middle aged female interviewer went to the Swan Song office, and she wrote that 'Jimmy lives in London suburbs and he came to office to receive this interview with his wife Charlotte'. In 'Rocking On' it was a phone interview. Both of them, the contents of interviews had been permitted only about the sound track album 'Death Wish 2'. I'm sure a lot of Japanese Zep fans remember those magazines. Led Zeppelin had(has) so many fans in Japan and we were looking forward to Jimmy's revival.
  9. Though it is right now impossible, I'll look for it. By the way,the photograph of Jimmy below was taken at that time
  10. But Alan said That's a famous party where there was a whole tent set up with all these musicians and amps and nobody could find any drumsticks! Jimmy Page and me were crawling through the Range Rover, I said I'm sure there's a pair here somewhere! Jim Capaldi, Simon Kirke, there was like six or seven drummers, and nobody had any drumsticks in the whole house, and nobody could play, so we never played! Jimmy seemed to try to find a drummer to me.
  11. No,Steve. Jimmy had birthday parties for her every year. He held it in 1982 too. And her birthday is 20th September. Jimmy and Charlotte went to the Swan Song office in May 1982 together. At that time, he received the interview of the music magazine of Japan. They were at least together in around autumn in 1982. There was a witness. Anyway what I really want to know about Jimmy is never understood. (Though his debauchery or something are easily understood) I think it is because of the most important for Jimmy perhaps. Information that we obtain for him might be not so important for him. I think he is a really mysterious person.
  12. I'm sure that was after Charlotte had left Old Mill House. Jimmy held a gorgeous birthday party for her in 1982. Alan White testified it in interview.(it's about XYZ era) A lot of musicians attended at the party.(including Eric Clapton) Why did she leave their house? Because of Jimmy's drug addiction? I heard she moved in another house in Windsor in 1982 or1983. http://nfte.org/interviews/AW247.html
  13. I want to overlook band member's faults and debaucheries in their young days. They admit that they had gone mad in those days. However I personally have the sympathy mind in Lori very much. She was a very poor girl.
  14. Though I ask the same thing many times, does not this thread concern Jimmy or the members of the band? Why does the topic of groupie's mother come out here? Of course, it is your freedom. However, you should speak in another somewhere.
  15. For instance, this is at the launch of Scarlet's photography exhibition 'Your Child' at The Royal Albert Hall, central London. England, 10 September 2007. After about a month, Jimmy and Charlotte welcomed their first grandchild 'Martha Alice'.(Scarlet's first child) I'm very glad that they have a happy life.
  16. I personally think that a lot of people are still misunderstanding him. He is still on good terms with his true partners in his life, not groupies. http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertai...ock-557876.html Jimmy Page: The godfather of rock Friday, 27 August 2004 Despite having five children from three different relationships, including three with his current partner, Jimena, he tries to fulfil his paternal duties to all of them. Last year he organised his hectic schedule, mastering and promoting Led Zeppelin's live DVD and CD, to ensure he did not miss his teenage son James's high school graduation in Florida. "Every Christmas we are all together, all the mums and all the children," he smiles. "We are a close-knit family." It sounds a far cry from the Led Zep days of debauchery, but Page stubbornly (and somewhat implausibly) insists that, despite the band's drug-crazed hell-raising and trail-blazing around the globe in the 1970s - when they were without doubt the biggest band in the world - they were all "family men" at heart. It is this, he claims, that kept them together from their formation in London in 1968 to the death of their drummer, John Bonham, in 1980. "The four members of Led Zeppelin were very different characters in their lifestyles, and that's what made them tick. Two lived in the South and two lived in the Midlands and, apart from when we got together to do rehearsals and write and record, we were all family men with separate lives. Yet when the four members bonded together musically, it brought out this different, fifth, element."
  17. There is a nice article'Rock and Roll Dad'. I love and respect him! http://www.wurlitzer-jukebox.com/en-us/Lif...%20Roll%20Dads/ Jimmy Page He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Twice. He is one of the greatest guitarists and musicians of our generation. Probably the next, too. But apart from coming up with the most colossal riffs in the history of mankind, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page's greatest accomplishment is daughter Scarlet, one of Britain's most popular rock photographers. Her portfolio features iconic shots of everyone from Dave Grohl and Noel Gallagher to Duran Duran and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Everyone, that is, but dad.
  18. Thank you,Meg. I think that these are exactly Jimmy's feelings to groupies. Otherwise, who did he say about?
  19. This is also written in 'When Giants Walked the Earth'. Jimmy seemed to only have had a sexual interest in Lori. You had better not trust 'Hammer Of the Gods'. Jimmy called it a crap.
  20. It is exactly a difference of recognition to the groupie. I think them to be a kind of prostitute and you don't. Is(Was) Jimmy respecting them? I was glad to know that his and my recognition was almost the same. That's all.
  21. Though recently Jimmy sometimes is talking about his granddaughter,he might never want her to become a girl like Pamela and Lori. He might want her to become a lady surely. Will anyone ask Jimmy? This topic tired me slowly.
  22. However that pride may impress Jimmy. Does not this thread concern Jimmy and the members of the band?
  23. Anyway, nowadays Jimmy doesn't come in contact with Pamela and Lori(etc) at all. I think that it tells all. I think that Robert has sympathy in groupies much more than Jimmy.
  24. Why did Jimmy dump her in a bad way? Because he never loved Lori as same as Pamela. They were mere the comforts during tours. It is merely it.
  25. It's just your opinion. I'm sure Jimmy loves classy woman in reality. Classy woman has a high pride and dignity. She thinks making her past loves public to be ribaldry. Of course it's my opinion!(lol)
