I'm happy because I just found out it's probably not going to rain tomorrow. I also just picked up my official Zepfest '09 tee shirt (this year it's inspired by BBC Sessions). I'm going to Zepfest at Hemisfair Park tomorrow. I've been to the others out here and they were awesome!

I'm basking in the delights of a weekend long tribute to Led Zep. My favorite radio station rolling the Zep catalog A-Z again! Tomorrow it will be Z-A! I always love this time of year! Zeptember RULES!

I got my 8 y/o niece to admit that the Jonas Brothers suck and Led Zeppelin are the Gods Of Rock!
I even forbade her from ever listening to the above mentioned heinous brothers.
And before I start getting bashed for uttering Zeppelin in the same sentence as the Suckass Brothers, it only came up because of a craptastic video on youtube I saw today. Some dumb disney loving anti-rock idiot trashed Led Zeppelin while attempting to defend the 'musical merits' of the suckass brothers. Loads of other Led Heads already unleashed on that * (insert expletive here). LOL!
See for yourself if you want, but I don't recommend it.

There are so many to choose from! Right now I'd say 'How Many More Times'. But I also LOVE 'Boogie With Stu' and the Robert & Tori Amos version of 'Down By The Seaside' off Encomium. That's pretty much the only good track off that cd.

This is why I'm happy. Today my favorite radio station (KZEP 104.5) kicked off their month long tribute to their namesake. A to Z The entire Zeppelin catalog to celebrate Zeptember '08. I look forward to this all year. It will likely culminate with the Zep-Fest ‘08 concert at the end of the month featuring Zeppelin tribute bands like Swan Song. LOL!
Last year I braved the most horrible flu of my life just to go to Hemisphere Park and party with the other Led-Heads and it was a blast! Can you spot me somewhere in the pic below? Hint: I'm wearing a Zep bandana, sunglasses, and a spike choker. LOL!
