  1. David Copperfield by Charles Dickens I'm reading this book for the second time. Great book and one of my favourite novels as well.
  2. Great film. One of the greatest war films and films in general.
  3. I've just finished reading Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf and Pride And Prejudice by Jane Austen. I'm not a big fan of books like this but it was in my syllabus so I had to read it. They are actually good, I liked them.
  4. Yes, that was a great quote. At first I thought that it was all in Spicoli's head when Mr. Hand came to his house. And I totally forgot about "I don't know".
  5. Good film. I really like Fast Times At Ridgemont High. Anything that Jeff Spicoli says in the film is funny and he is also my favourite character. The quote with Led Zeppelin in it was really good and surprising but my favourites are Spicoli's quotes like: "Aloha Mr. Hand", "Those guys are fags!", "Something must have happened to them.", "Hey Bud, let's party", "Awesome! Totally awesome! All right Hamilton!", etc.
  6. Great film and interesting story about skinhead subculture.
  7. "Good Times Bad Times" This is a perfect opener! Though not my favorite but this song is just something special. I do believe that it blew everyone's mind back in 1969 by how powerful it was, and yes, it still is. My other favourite openers are "Whole Lotta Love", "Black Dog" and "In The Evening". "In The Evening" is an amazing opener.
  8. An Education British coming-of-age drama film. Great movie. I've seen it twice and I'll definitely see it again sometime.
  9. I really like Joni Mitchell. Amazing artist and guitarist with unique guitar style. My favorite albums are Blue, Court And Spark and Ladies Of The Canyon.
  10. Kashmir, Stairway To Heaven, Ten Years Gone, In The Light, Thank You, and Since I've Been Loving You are one of my favorite.
  11. I like Alice Cooper. It's one of my all time favorite bands and artists. It's also one of the first bands I got into when I had started to discover music. I have a really nice memories of Alice Cooper like buying Hey Stoopid, the first Alice Cooper album I bought, or like hearing "Poison" first time, not knowing it's Alice Cooper's song. My favorite albums are Billion Dollar Babies, Love It To Death, Killer, School's Out, Welcome To My Nightmare, Trash and Hey Stoopid. I like Alice's original and 70s career the most, of course, but I also like his career after the comeback in the 80s. One huge example of that is Trash album. "Poison" is one my favorite songs of all time. I think he really pushed his career forward with "Poison".
  12. I'm watching movies all the time. Last movies of the newer ones I saw are: Shutter Island Iron Man 2 Toy Story 3 How To Train Your Dragon Kick-Ass Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Clash Of The Titans Robin Hood Alice In Wonderland The Runaways Predators The Expendables Inception Resident Evil: Afterlife
  13. Loved them since the first day I heard them. I was still in primary school and I had about 10 years back then. They were not like the other ordinary bands I listened at the time but I liked them instantly. I've always been interested in scary and mysterious things. That has just attracted me for some reason. Anyway... Has anyone else gotten goosebumps while listening to the first Black Sabbath album? The song "Black Sabbath" freaked me out first time, especially the solo at the end. That's why I still like the song so much.
  14. I like Lynyrd Skynyrd. Great band. I discovered them long ago when I was still in primary school and I loved them. Actually I've always loved southern rock music in general. My favorite albums are Lynyrd Skynyrd, Second Helping and Street Survivors. "Sweet Home Alabama" is timeless song, it really never seems to get old. I'll never forget hearing "Tuesday's Gone", "Simple Man" and "Free Bird" solo. Those songs can really bring tears to your eyes. It's awesome band with such a many good songs.
  15. I love The Allman Brothers Band. Awesome band. My favorite lineup was the original one with Duane Allman but other lineups are good though. Duane Allman is one of the greatest guitar players of all time in my opinion and one of my favorite guitar players. He's possibly one of the greatest slide guitar players too. My favorite albums are the debut album The Allman Brothers Band, Idlewild South, At Fillmore East, Eat A Peach and Brothers And Sisters. At Fillmore East is definitely one of the greatest live albums of all time. I like Duane Allman's other projects outside The Allman Brothers Band. One more thing I like about Duane Allman is that he reportedly composed "Layla" riff, which is one of my top favorite songs. The duet solo of "Layla" with Eric Clapton and Duane Allman sharing lead guitar is one of my favorite solos and one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Nothing else to say. One of my favorite bands.
  16. Great. Rory Gallagher is one of my favorite musicians. Awesome performer and awesome style and technique. He was absolutely amazing live. I like both his work with Taste and his solo career. One of the greatest guitar players of all time in my opinion.
  17. I like Iron Maiden a lot. It's actually one of my favorite heavy metal bands. I discovered them long time ago when I was still in primary school and I loved them. My favorite albums are The Number Of The Beast, Piece Of Mind and Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son.
  18. Deep Purple - In Rock One of the greatest hard rock albums of all time. "Child In Time" blows away every other song on this album in my opinion.
  19. Led Zeppelin I - "Black Mountain Side" Led Zeppelin II - "Moby Dick" Led Zeppelin III - "Hats Off To (Roy) Harper" Led Zeppelin IV - "Four Sticks" Houses Of The Holy - "The Crunge" Physical Graffiti - "Black Country Woman" Presence - "Royal Orleans" In Through The Out Door" - "South Bound Saurez" Coda - "Poor Tom" OK this is just how it currently looks. Actually these are my least favorite ones but I still like those songs.
  20. I just like Pink Floyd. Awesome band and awesome musicians. I just loved the experimentation in their music. Sounds so magical. I like especially listening to Pink Floyd when I'm really in a mood for it. I always thought their music is intense or suspenseful but I always liked listening to it when I want to relax. I tried listening to it, along with other progressive and psychedelic rock music and rock music in general, in many ways like listening to it in total dark or listening outside at night. It may sound weird to some people but it's interesting. I like all albums but my favorite albums are The Wall, The Dark Side Of The Moon, Meddle and Animals.
  21. I kinda like The Runaways. The girls and the band was really hard rocking back in the day. I like the way they played hard rock. I mean they showed that the girls can rock too.
  22. It was pretty good today. The weather was fine and sunny though summer is ending and autumn/fall is coming.
  23. Janis Joplin reminds me of Robert Plant. Actually both of them always reminded me of each other. I don't know why... Probably similar singing style.
  24. Michael Jackson's death. Farrah Fawcett's too. It really made me sad today. I'm thinking about this whole that. I can't get it out of my head now. Really sad.
