Hey zeppelin lovers! My cousin Dylan and I were doing a jam session playing all kinds of zeppelin and such. We recorded a Medley with whole lotta love in it and I figured I would make an edit out of the solo! Check it out and feel free to add comments and such! We werent planning on uploading this, we were more so just messing around, but it came out pretty cool looking! Thanks for Listening! -Jimmy Page styled guitarist, Aidan Makare

How does Jimmy play the harmonic portion towards the beginning of his bow solo during this concert? This is the part immediately preceding the slapback echo portion. He appears to start with a 12th-fret harmonic and then pull-offs beginning at higher frets, making a really fascinating, unexplainable sound. I'm guessing the sound results from a combination of cranked tube amp harmonics, and help from his tape delay and room echo. Has anyone recreated this sound? I've never even heard Page do it again in any other concerts.

Wondering if Jp could produce some "deluxe editions" of The Firm and Outrider. That would be awesome

First time/long time. Zep fan since '85 when I saw them on MTV for Live Aid (not their best, I know, but a great "what is all the fuss about?" intro for a 13 year old). My aunt was a huge fan, turned me on to all the albums, took me to see the Outrider tour and Plant's "Now and Zen" tour (with Joan Jett opening!). Later, I saw Page/Plant at the Alamodome in San Antonio, and have seen Plant again since while he was a resident here in Austin. Anyway, getting back into Page era stuff post-Zep, pre-Page/Plant lately. Downloaded The Firm's first album from iTunes (used to have the tape) and

I love the, for lack of a better term the '50's feel to the outro solo on the studio version of The Ocean. Did Page ever try to recreate that solo or one with a similar feel live? None of the versions I've listened to have. Thanks in advance.

I have an inkling that the extended solo played by Jimmy Page in Stairway To Heaven from The Song Remains The Same film, might be a combination of the three solos that Jimmy first composed for the Stairway To Heaven in the studio. Is this possible?

Hi all, I've been getting into transcribing some of JPJ's solo stuff recently, the guy is my absolute hero on the bass and figured it was about time someone deciphered his solo stuff - so here's my interpretation on his groovy, improvised solo on 'Bass N Drums' taken from Zooma... figured this, a Zep forum, would be as good a place as any to share it! Planning on putting a few more up in the future too. Hope you enjoy and feel free to share it wherever if it does indeed tickle your fancy?! Check it out, let me know what ye reckons... Big love to JPJ. Cheers, S.

I personally like Outrider I think has more of Jimmy's hard rock and bluesy feel. Unlike some of Robert's later projects. (I enjoy Robert's solo career as well)

At 2:22 in the song after the tempo changes, I believe I hear a bit from the guitar solo on Stairway, the A Minor Pentatonic. Does anybody else hear this or am I crazy?

When Jimmy Page was recording the guitar solo for Stairway to Heaven, there were three takes, one of which is the one on the album. Does anyone know where I can find audio of the other two solos? It would be interesting to hear how the the solo evolved. Also, any other Stairway to Heaven rehearsals or outtakes would be appreciated.
