  1. I couldn't find any threads about Cream around here, so I'm starting one. Feel free to post videos, trivia, or other interesting tidbits about the Cream. Let's start with this:
  2. Hello to all! I'm a guitarist from Buffalo, NY and a HUGE Jimmy Page enthusiast (I was lucky enough to meet him on November 5th 2014 in NYC). I play (and also take on the role of lead vocalist) in a three piece blues and rock band that formed in September of last year after some effort to get off the ground. I've actually been conversing with a local radio DJ who runs a Led Zeppelin hour every Sunday night and he is looking to get me on the show. So far we have two songs recorded (produced, mixed and mastered by myself) and are looking to record more very soon as we have quite a few more originals raring to go. Anyhow, I figured I'd share some of our music on here to see how it will be perceived by some other Zeppelin fans on here and maybe get some feedback. https://soundcloud.com/mojo-stone-1 Find us on Facebook at Mojo Stone and on Twitter @mojo_stone
  3. There is a new documentary about Ginger Baker that I want to see. It won best documentary at South By Southwest: http://movies.nytime...nger-baker.html http://www.nytimes.c...nger-baker.html This looks interesting to me, a fan of that era, band, and musician. Baker claims Bonham and Moon, if alive, would say he is the better drummer, which I doubt. But for me it's not an either/or thing. I love Ginger Baker, and other drummers. Bonham is my favorite, and Neil Peart, Terry Bozzio, Keith Moon, and Bill Bruford round out my top five. I also love Stewart Copeland, Dave Grohl, Tony Williams, Danny Carey, Steve Gadd, Lars Ulrich, Jack DeJohnette, Mitch Mitchell, John Stanier, Billy Cobham, and Art Blakey. So Ginger Baker is an opinionated crank. I kinda like him that way. Bonham is the greater drummer, but I can say as a musician and a drummer back in the day that Disraeli Gears and Wheels of Fire totally blew me away. In The Light since 1972 Trampled Under Foot. My life with Led Zeppelin. http://petedelorean.tumblr.com/
  4. Clapton was born this day in 1945. See some select videos of his brilliant career here- http://rockabillynblues.blogspot.com/2012/03/happy-birthday-eric-clapton.html
