  1. Hi. I'm new here but I wanted to join so I could share something. Am I allowed to share links for downloading it from my cloud storage or do I only offer them if people PM me? Long post - deep breath! Been working on it since the summer when it started to become apparent that Jimmy Page was not going to deliver the 50th Anniversary Live boxed set that we all hoped for. Well, if he wasn't going to do it, then I was certainly going to give it my best shot! My starting point was that for 1969-1973, we have near-complete live shows for each year: Paris Olympia from 196
  2. I’m open to feedback on this project of mine. The foundation of it is shown below, however, I still have some work to do on it and nothing is cemented in yet. So I’d like some feedback from the wizards of this site. What started as a curios “Do I have all of their live songs?”, has turned into a quest to create a best of, massive Led Zeppelin “concert” of each of their live performed songs. For now, I’ve listed my cut of their best live performances in alpha order below. I’d like to thanks Bonzo_fan (Ranking the 1977 Shows, and 1975 shows, and...), Michael Fry (50th Anniversary Box S
  3. Just uploaded a re-edited DVD of the Earls Court shows on Guitars101. Just type "Led Zeppelin Best of Earls Court 75 DVD re-edit guitars101" into Google or PM me for a link. There's also an mp4 version if you prefer. Both DVD and mp4 versions now work great on VLC media player. All sync issues that cropped up in my first version when played on a computer should now be fixed. I've selected the best performance of each song from the 24th/25th May shows that circulate. Improvements include: - a better audio mix of the opening numbers that's more sympathetic to Plant's voice
  4. A new coffee table book Five Glorious Nights, compiled by Dave Lewis, is being published to commemorate the 1975 run of concerts at Earls Court: http://www.fivegloriousnights.co.uk/ Disclaimer: Not associated with the publisher Rufus Stone.
  5. I was going through the EC stuff and just happened to notice Bonzo here. It's almost as bad as San Diego 77. I'm preety sure they almost come to a complete stop a couple times.
  6. Just came across the Empress Valley Supreme Disk dual layer DVD image for "Demand Unprecedented In The History Of Rock Music" (around 7.6Gb). According to argentiumastrum, "Unlike Toasted Condor's "Heavy Metal Machine", this new effort from EV uses superb sounding stereo soundboard soundtrack to provide the most professional status." I still have two ears despite advancing age, but the sound on the DVD image sounds suspiciously like mono, albeit very high quality mono, to me. I would be very grateful if anyone with an original copy could let me know if the sound is "proper" stereo. Given the s
  7. With the completion at last of the massive Led Zeppelin remastering project, our attention now turns to what is next up Jimmy Page's sleeve. I think most of us have a hankering for some new music from Jimmy...either solo or with a band. But Steve A. Jones has intimated about a possible Earls Court 1975 release...which would theoretically take up some considerable time and delay Jimmy from recording any new music even further. I thought this would make an interesting poll topic: What do us fans want Jimmy to do next? Should he focus on putting out some new music? Or keep tending to the arch
  8. So the reissues project is over, along with the companion disc audio project (which I was very impressed with for the most part), and now all of us are scratching our heads wondering: "What now?" Jimmy leads us to believe that he will go on tour alone, with his own band (without a singer). I'm guessing this will sort of be like a Jeff Beck thing. If so, then that's definitely something to be excited about, but another question does cross my mind quite frequently. What's left in the vaults? Supposedly a lot of good material. Here is what Jimmy (obviously) has left in the vaults, for example:
  9. Here is something i have thought about from time to time. At the end of the Earls court show from the 24th You can clearly see jimmy playing with his pic in his hand in one scene, then a couple seconds later, He throws it to the crowd! What i am wondering is who has that pic!?!? Someone out there has it! And i wonder if they are on this website or somewhere out there and maybe someone knows something about it??? This could be awesome!!!!
  10. Please post all photos of the Earl's Court concerts you have. Here are the ones from led-zeppelin.org
  11. Hey zeppelin fans. What do you think?. Is better Seattle of 1975 or Earl Court.? Seattle has a amazing version of Dazed And Confused with 43.00 minutes! Earl court has great acustic songs. Voice of Robert isn´t the best but i think that the rest of the band just were AWESOME
  12. hello everyone, I'm newbie in this forum, and I'm glad that finally I join this forum. and i wanna ask a question that has been in my mind since a few years ago: does anybody has bootleg from earls court 23 may 1975? I've couldn't find it anywhere. I'm crazy about that date, because I've heard the other earl courts concert and makes me wonder how was the band sound from that night. especially for no quarter because I think no quarter is the highlight of the setlist in any earls court night, it sound different every night, and still awesome!! if anybody know, please tell me where can
  13. Came across this and put it on hold while I try to find out more about it. It's a 3 cd set of the May 23, 1975 Earls Court concert...title is "The Awesome Foursome". So far I've discovered it's based on an old vinyl set sourced from an audience tape. No label listed...only this catalogue #: CG 42-43-44. I generally prefer a good audience tape to soundboard(you can barely hear the harmonies on "Tangerine" on the sbd), and May 23 is one of the Earls Courts I don't have(May 18 is the other). Anybody have any pros or cons to offer regarding this set?
  14. Which concert in your opinion was better: Earls Court May 24th or May 25th?
