  1. After running into this outtake on Youtube (maybe Headley Grange '70?) where the Immigrant Song drum groove transitions perfectly into Bathroom Sound... I began to wonder whether Immigrant Song and Out On The Tiles were initially born as the same jam. Same take, similar tempo in their early stages, similar drum sound and arrangement, Immigrant Song is in F#... Bathroom Sound/OOTT verses are in F#... Does anyone else see it? Or is there any info on the subject
  2. Since people have been talking about already receiving their Led Zeppelin remastered sets, I guess it is time to set up separate threads for us to discuss each album's merits and our thoughts and reviews on the music, the bonus tracks, the remastering job, the packaging, all the bells and whistles...pro and con. This is the Led Zeppelin III thread. Let me be clear...this is for your reaction to the actual product. Not what you heard on youtube or third-hand from a friend's phone. Also, no press reviews please...there is already a thread for those in the news section. This thread is for
  3. I recently emptied out a doctor's house who collected records and found this in there. I looked it up and seems to have a lot of value but figured this was the forum to ask in. What do you guys think this is worth?

Wondering if some of them will be worth buying? From the first three albums, the only one worth a purchase looks to be Led Zeppelin III, having most of all the songs in alternate mixes along with new songs. Led Zeppelin II has different versions and that one new song called "LaLa", which I was planning on just listening to on youtube once it comes out (I'm sure someone will upload it). Also wondering if
  6. on "hey hey what can I do" - I'm trying to discern which parts are Jonesy on Mandolin and which parts are Page on the Zither Is Jones doing the chords that kinda mimic the acoustic guitar? while Page is doing the "Lead Line" ? So the riffs at 26 seconds in and 33 seconds for example are Page? If anyone repsonds, please feel free to send link to your source..
  7. Hello! I would like to share my Led Zeppelin III denim jacket from 1985 (my high school days). My cousin's friend from Hicksville, NY was a wonderful artist. To make extra pocket money for concerts, pizza, beers and Acapulco Gold he would paint album covers on to denim jackets for his friends. I asked him if he paint the album cover from Led Zeppelin III on to my Levi's denim....he was blown away that I asked him...but very up to the challenge. This was his all time favorite album cover! He told me that kids always commissioned him to paint Led Zeppelin I and II. The only problem was I
