Genuine icon of the airwaves who used the wonder of radio to inform and entertain us all. His voice resonated with civility and tradition and he will be missed.

I will certainly miss him. Loved his anectdotal stories each day. He would hold your interest till the end, meanwhile you're trying to guess who he was talking about. And then...wow it was that person and I didn't know that. A true American Icon and legend of radio!

His son Paul Jr. had taken over the reigns the last few years and sounds almost identical to him. He does an admirable job as well. Had a good teacher by learning from the best.
