Roisin Dubh
It will soon be December 8th, the day John Lennon was shot, (R.I.P.) I always remember, because, apart from being a 'Beatles' fan, my Brother John died two days before that, he was living in Amsterdam and working out on the North Sea Gas Rigs. The Dutch 'Police' were taking a 'hard line' against the then numerous 'squats', I cannot prove anything, but I know my Brother had money in the bank and had no reason to commit 'Suicide', (the 'Official Verdict'.) My Brother John played drums well, his style was similar to John Bonham, (R.I.P.) who died in the September of 1980, he also played guitar and was a poet. He was the closest person to me on this planet and I miss him very Much. :'( Someone give me a hug........
Roisin Dubh
AWww thank you....... I remember what a friend of mine who is a psychiatrist said, "When you are made sad and lonely by the death of someone close, seek out life, because life goes on and so must you." It's a real good time to find out who HAS got time for you and a little sympathy. Edited December 4, 2007 by Roisin Dubh

Horrorshow_Plant
He is my favorite Beatle, and when I first decided he was, I was pissed at him for dying ten years before I was born. But as someone stated elsewhere on the forum, there is no rhyme or reason to who dies in this world. If there was, people like John and Freddie Mercury and even Karac Plant would still be alive. Rest in peace, John. You're still an insperation.

Roisin Dubh
Pay homage to JOHN LENNON here.................thanx. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?p...gr&GRid=618 Just two days to go and lots of people will be having 'Lennon Parties', great, I can get out my old hippy threads Today is St Nicholas's Day, the Patron Saint of Christmas, it was he who started the tradition of the giving of gifts, he used to give toys to the poor Children. I hear it is also Finnish 'Inependence Day', (90 years of Independence.)
