Random Thoughts v.3

Recommended Posts

I think it's just because of the sexy accents.

Nah, I imagine it appeals to different people for different reasons: some like the pomp & circumstance, others dig the fashions, a few hopeless (& deluded) romantics like the fairytale aspect, still others lust after the cars: a classic 1977 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI! A '69 Aston Martin! One o' them new Jaguars with the cat's-eye headlamps! It's like car porn: USA Today: Royal Wedding was a British classic car show

I agree with the car show! It was a nice bonus when they left in his dads Aston.

I noticed the "L" plate on the front of the car. Is Prince William still considered a beginner or does that have a different meaning?

Grief....the emotionally charged personal journey one must occasionally endure to reinvent a different way of living due to a void created by death.

Hey ledzepfvr! What's going on? Is everything okay? Something you can, or would like to share?

Or were you just having a "random thought" as the thread title suggests?

You mentioned death...

For me death is like a cut. It is very painful at the beginning, it bleeds. It is said "time heals all wounds", in time the the pain lessens, the bleeding stops, the cut heels over but it still leaves a scar. Don't let the scar be the reminder of the tragic event. Let it be the reminder of the happiness and pleasures that occurred before the loss.

Hope all is okay.

Steve

Yes, it means Learner and it was a joke courtesy of Prince Harry, who decorated the car (so the tv commentators told us).

Despite probably thousands of new members, this place seems pretty slow.

Ah! That makes sense then. I did think he has been driving for years now.

Thanks MINI Zoso....it was a random thought but also a reflection of my state of mind.

Without rehashing what I have shared in other threads I will just direct you here to get a picture of my sorrow.

Post number 511.

Ah! I did read that when it was posted. Just glad you didn't have to endure yet another loss. Specially so soon after.

That's because there's nothing more to talk about. Anything you could possibly discuss about Led Zeppelin has been talked to death in hundreds if not thousands of threads. Also, there's maybe what.....50 active members anymore that post more than once every eclipse?

Try this:

While sitting in a chair, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction.

What really sucks for me, who lives in the Pacific Time Zone, is that most posters here seem to be in the Midwest and Eastern Time Zones, or in Europe.

I might be able to do a quick hit and run during the day, but mostly it's after midnight when I have time to post...at which time everyone else east of California is asleep.

Oh you poor thing! Seriously!

My daughter prefers the music of his girl friend more, so I get some of that mixed in with "Wizards of Waverly Place".

Palladia? I looked it up...I assume you mean the music channel! If so, looks very interesting.
