niftynic
Hey all, I'm going to the concert and can't wait!! If the concert finishes at 11pm and I haven't managed to swindle VIP tickets, does anybody know of a good place to go after the show? Me and my friend are going to be way too pumped up to go home straight after, if anybody knows of a cool venue - or if any place is organising a Led Zep after party for non-VIP's - then get in touch... 6 days to go!!!!!!!!! myledzep
There were some threads in this forum and perhaps the LZ master forum about people hooking up before and after the show. Unfortunately, I can't recall the titles otherwise I'd post the link. Just read through the various threads and you'll come up on it.
PotBound
I was wondering the same thing. Sharing thoughts about the gig afterward with others in attendance is part of the fun. One friend mentioned to me that the area around Covent Garden tends to stay open REALLY late...4 AM or so. Cheers!

calzepfan
Hey all. I bet you are all just as excited as me and my buddy from L.A. We too would like to party before, during and after the show. Any good spots? What about Sat or Sun. nights prior to the show? Let me know.
niftynic
For saturday and sunday nights there is a lot to choose from, just check out http://www.timeout.com/london/ Monday night is the tricky one, very few places are open and I'd hate to be walking around the city looking for a place to kick on at... Professor Frink
I was about to suggest they look at Timeout. Monday nights are dead though. I have spent a number of Monday's wandering around the West End looking for somewhere open late. There are one or two clubs (although it will be dance music most likely) that open on a Monday, but you will struggle to find anywhere open past 12. I am just WAY too excited to do any work today, I think I'll be on this forum the whole day...only 5 days to go!!!!

desirezep
You can t just walk around London, it is far to big, and some parts are just not safe.
niftynic
"You can t just walk around London, it is far to big, and some parts are just not safe." I couldn't agree more, that's one of the reasons I started this topic so that people can have a plan after the show, instead of walking aruond Dazed and Confused I know that once the oncert is done, the last thing I want to do is go straight home... niftynic
Thank you for your views...I'm hoping there will be some people at the concert whose idea of a good time is something mroe than a glass of sherry before bed time at 9:30!! I have more faith in Led Zep fans to keep it together, they've been rockin since the 70's so I'm pretty sure they know their limits...
kirchzep27
i wouldnt worry about walking around the city with a group of zeppelin fans, you'll be buzzing with so much positive energy, you'll be bulletproof.
niftynic
It's going to be fantastic being part of a group that's just experienced an amazing gig, I just want to do something more than walk around London... Maybe find the nearest pub to the O2 and demand a lock-in!

Taggart
How expensive would it be to get a taxi back to central london from the O2 if the tube stops running. Might be worth knowing if ppl decide to stay on in the pubs there.. Ravi

Taggart
Cool - that sounds pretty reasonable - get 3, 4 to share the cost and you have an opportunity to party all night around the arena
