Where to go after the concert

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I'm going to the concert and can't wait!!

If the concert finishes at 11pm and I haven't managed to swindle VIP tickets, does anybody know of a good place to go after the show?

Me and my friend are going to be way too pumped up to go home straight after, if anybody knows of a cool venue - or if any place is organising a Led Zep after party for non-VIP's - then get in touch...

6 days to go!!!!!!!!!

Nifty

There were some threads in this forum and perhaps the LZ master forum about people hooking up before and after the show. Unfortunately, I can't recall the titles otherwise I'd post the link.

Just read through the various threads and you'll come up on it. :)

I was wondering the same thing. Sharing thoughts about the gig afterward with others in attendance is part of the fun. One friend mentioned to me that the area around Covent Garden tends to stay open REALLY late...4 AM or so.

Cheers! :hippy:

I was about to suggest they look at Timeout. Monday nights are dead though. I have spent a number of Monday's wandering around the West End looking for somewhere open late. There are one or two clubs (although it will be dance music most likely) that open on a Monday, but you will struggle to find anywhere open past 12.

Hey again,

I trawled through the other topics and have yet to find anything being talked about for monday night after the concert, as soon as I find something...anything...I'll post it here!

I am just WAY too excited to do any work today, I think I'll be on this forum the whole day...only 5 days to go!!!!

"You can t just walk around London, it is far to big, and some parts are just not safe."

I couldn't agree more, that's one of the reasons I started this topic so that people can have a plan after the show, instead of walking aruond Dazed and Confused

I know that once the oncert is done, the last thing I want to do is go straight home...

Thank you for your views...I'm hoping there will be some people at the concert whose idea of a good time is something mroe than a glass of sherry before bed time at 9:30!!

I have more faith in Led Zep fans to keep it together, they've been rockin since the 70's so I'm pretty sure they know their limits...

It's going to be fantastic being part of a group that's just experienced an amazing gig, I just want to do something more than walk around London...

Maybe find the nearest pub to the O2 and demand a lock-in!

:o

Good idea, The Pilot inn is the nearest, look on the web for the website and email them your suggestion, be quick though !!

How expensive would it be to get a taxi back to central london from the O2 if the tube stops running. Might be worth knowing if ppl decide to stay on in the pubs there..

Ravi

It'd probably cost you about £25.00. Best to round up a few fans who are heading back to central London, and share the cost.
