Bonzoghost
I emailed the 02 and received two completely different responses from two different employees: Hi Thank you for your email. Yes you may bring small digital cameras but no professional photography which means no 35mm lens or bigger. recording equipment is not allowed at all in to the arena. Kind regards SXXXXX Customer Services The O2 Peninsula Square London SE10 0DX T: 0208 463 2000 www.theo2.co.uk Hello, Thanks for your email. I’m sorry to inform that you will not be permitted to take photo’s within the concert. If you are caught taking photo’s from your camera or mobile phone you will be escorted from the arena. I hope you enjoy the show! LivewireYouthMusic
Hello Brooke, Thank you for your email. You are able to bring your camera in as long as the lens does not exceed 35mm. There is not filming at all allowed at all at this concert. I have confirmed this with the venue manager for this event so this is the official information. I hope that this clears it up for you. The Rover
At the "last minute" for "Security Reasons" they could disallow alomost anything they choose, and you can do nothing about it.

LivewireYouthMusic
The under 35mm seems to be the general statement from 02 powers that be, I guess that also defines how they classifiy what is a pro and what is a small to medium camera, well hopefully there will be no problems or security issues. All the best Andy
motherdaugthership
I think they are more worried about people smuggling video cameras in housed in large nikons or something. small digital cameras like mine take video but not enough to warrant considering them contraband... if you have any doubts best to bring a small "box camera" ..one of those kodak disposable cameras still wrapped and sealed -- will not cause any problems I'm sure. ledzeppelinrock
My camera is not a professional camera (being as u cant change lenses, but im afraid they will try and confescate it... at the end of the day, its a point and shoot camera, and its not professional, although does take some nice snaps... what u guys reckon? http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Fuji...inepixs602z.asp thats my camera... it says the lens is 35mm. That is a nice camera, but it says 46.9.mm on the lens and X6 zoom so they may well have it off you. I have seen security checking the info on lens before but not at the O2, so you could take the chance. You will get it back at the end of the show if they ask you to cheeck it in. Good luck, I will be trying to get my Canon G7 in, also a good little snapper! Cheers Warby

Thanks for the e-mail This camera is unlikely to be allowed into the arena as this is would be considered a semi-professional camera. At full zoom this camera has a 210mm lens and this would not be acceptable. If you brought this camera it might be allowed in depending on the stewards opinion however if it is confiscated you will be given a ticket in order to pick the camera up at the end. My advice would be, if possible, to find a camera that is smaller and more compact so that you are not disappointed on the night. I hope this helps. Regards, Dan Customer Services The O2 I think im gonna chance it, and take a smaller backup camera, along with my N95.... they better not confiscate it though that would be rubbish

desirezep
It looks professional yes, and you be be gutted if you did not see the concert, or you lost it or whatever, I know it is a tempting to take it, but better safe than sorry.
