kipper Posted June 26, 2014 Share Posted June 26, 2014 This morning my landlord was backing out of the driveway and he ran over another neighbor's dog. We couldn't figure out why the dog was out or not on a leash, or why it didn't just get out of the way. The dog's back leg was broken so they had to put it to sleep. I would have thought it might need a cast, but the owner doesn't have much money. Such a shame, this ruined my whole day. Keep an eye on your pets people! We both had young kids when I started back then ( she has been at the job for 15 ), so we shared struggles and stories etc over the years, and have become good mates. She is an excellent worker and will be missed. We live fairly close to each other, and have vowed to keep in touch, but it is hard .... I will miss her I think some of my sadness is because I can't leave just yet .... Also, I found out that I not only have osteoarthritis, but rheumatoid as well.
