Wow, this is so difficult for me. There are so many films I love. I tried to do a top ten list once but it added up to twenty!!

Okay here's some I love:

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) -- This is the kind of film you either love or hate. The first time I saw it I fell asleep on it! Then I rewatched it and read the novel and watched the sequel and I loved it. I really appreciate Stanley Kubrick's direction and special effects. I think the special effects are even better than the computerized effects that are used today.

Rebecca (1940) -- I love all Hitchcock films, but I think this is my favorite.

Lawrence of Arabia (1962) -- The cinematography is breathtaking!!

A Clockwork Orange (1971) (hence, my user name!) -- Another Stanley Kubrick film that is completely amazing. I love his direction and camera work.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975) -- Probably the funniest movie I've ever seen! It makes me :hysterical::hysterical: every time I watch it!

Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) -- Probably my favorite Stephen Speilberg movie.

Top Hat (1935) -- I was raised on musicals, and I love Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.

Back to the Future (1985) -- My favorite `80s movie! :D

A Fistful of Dollars "makes you think" more than Blade Runner?

I guess, I mainly enjoy Blade Runner for its stunning cinematography. I mean, the whole "Are androids human?" thing has been done to death and done better in my opinion. Fistfull of Dollars has the same stunning cinematography but I guess it just connects with me more.

Anyway, separating the two lists was more an excuse for me to highlight more of my favourites than anything.

What is with all of the drug comedy showing up? Are the stereotypes about Led Zeppelin fans true? Marijuana jokes does not a good movie make.

No, but Seth Rogan/Evan Goldberg and Richard Linklater do.

I've never done an illegal substance in my life, so it's not like I can relate. I just find those 'stoner' comedies hilarious.

I could list more but I'm happy with this list.

Into the Wild (2007) - Man! There are many instances where books aren't given justice by the film from which it was based but in this case the movie did equal justice to the book as well as the soundtrack.

Braveheart (1995) - Mel Gibson did an outstanding job in his role as William Wallace. The scene towards the end when William Wallace (Mel Gibson) is being tortured and yells, Freedom! just gets me everytime, so powerful.

300 (2007) - What can I say but one heck of a kick ass movie.

Dumb and Dumber (1994) - A favorite comedy of mine that includes one my favorite comedy actors, Jim Carrey.

La Bamba (1987) - Just a great movie.
