In no particular order...

Braveheart – a "love story" a guy can get into.

Pulp Fiction – where do I begin? Never has shooting heroin seemed so cool.

The Outlaw Josey Wales – "Not a hard man to track. Leaves dead men wherever he goes."

Anchorman – The quotes just keep coming. "They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time."

Terminator 2 – Hey, I'm a guy. It's mandatory.

Lethal Weapon – I still have to stop whatever I'm doing and watch when Mel Gibson breaks free from the torture room and kills his way out.

and because I can't disregard them...

ALMOST anything with Will Smith, from Independence Day, both MIBs, I Robot, to Pursuit of Happyness (I always cry, it's unavoidable) and Seven Pounds.

Also, a lot of Denzell Washington movies as well, including Deja Vu.

Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle – hey, I used to get high. A lot.

The first half of Natural Born Killers is almost brilliant, and then it just falls apart when it gets to the prison scenes. The shifting and swirling when they were tripping on peyote really gave a good feel for tripping. And the "security camera" view that switched throughout really painted a realistic insight into Mickey's world view.

Training Day, Heat, Traffic and No Country For Old Men all have the same gritty realism that makes you physically uncomfortable while watching.

And, as I recently revealed in a thread here, the Beatles musical Across The Universe – it's worth it to me just to see All My Lovin', and Let It Be is one of the most moving scenes I could ever imagine in a musical.

It's a Wonderful Life – mandatory Christmas viewing, and again, I always cry (real manly crying, though  ).

and I can't leave out animated movies...

Toy Story

Finding Nemo

Monsters, Inc.

The Incredibles

Wall-E

Bolt

And if you can believe it, I actually cried (wotta wuss, amirite?) when I took my kids to see Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.

Jeez, enuff already... lulz

I think you quoted the wrong comment, I'm guessing you were referring to my post and various movies that made me cry.

Yes, Ol' Yeller gets me, but a similar movie that pulls the crying trigger even more is "Where The Red Fern Grows".

Holla if ya hear me.

In an hour the list will probably be different, but here goes:

City Lights

Godfather (or, shameless bias, anything with Al Pacino)

Shawshank Redemption

Chocolat

Gladiator

Shawshank was a great movie indeed! I liked the movie version of Chocolat a lot but I thought the book was even better.

It's so difficult...I take five, but I surely love a lot of films...

Lord of the Rings(I'm a big fan of Tolkien)

A.I. (big fan of Stanley Kubrick)

Est-Ouest (so sad that I can't never watch the ending for the second time)

Purple Noon (so much better than Mr. Ripley)

Fairwell My Concubine (one of the best chinese films)

Wonderful movie!

Wow, you have seen it then?

The protagonist committed suicide 6 years ago on April fool's day. We all thought it was a sick joke at first then it turned out to be true, what a shock and so sad.

Oh yes - in the theater when it was released here :)

What a terrible shame about the protagonist's suicide :(
