SteveAJones Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Any videos of this on the internet? If I'm not mistaken the station either wiped the mastertape or did not maintain it in their archive. In any event, the film is lost to history and only photographs remain. Quote

I remember seeing that when it first aired in 1975. Wolfman Jack was the host, and called the feature either a tribute or salute to Led Zeppelin, and started with brief montage of album cover shots and audio clips of songs. The centerpiece of the feature was the Robert Plant interview with J.J. Jackson. Quote

Cat Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 Here's a bit from the News Journal, Mansfield, Ohio on Tuesday, May 06, 1975: Watch for Robert Plant on "The Midnight Special" May 23 — but he won't sing, just sit for an interview, then introduce the Pretty Things, who're on the Led Zeppelin's Swan Song label.
