Robert was a guest. Wolfman Jack or J.J. Jackson (can't remember) was the host. Phil May of The Pretty Things and Swan Song executive Danny Goldberg were are also present but remained off camera. It was filmed in Los Angeles in March 1975.

I remember watching this show when I was a kid! J.J. Jackson was the host, and it also looks like Phil May in this photo from the show:

I remember seeing that when it first aired in 1975. Wolfman Jack was the host, and called the feature either a tribute or salute to Led Zeppelin, and started with brief montage of album cover shots and audio clips of songs. The centerpiece of the feature was the Robert Plant interview with J.J. Jackson.

Here's a bit from the News Journal, Mansfield, Ohio on Tuesday, May 06, 1975:

Watch for Robert Plant on "The Midnight Special" May 23 — but he won't sing, just sit for an interview, then introduce the Pretty Things, who're on the Led Zeppelin's Swan Song label.

I found a exxelent pic of Robert from that show i will post it here ; never have seen it yet in this forum.....BTW Heartbreaker _Girl I have that People magazine hanging on my studio wall, Robert signed it for me at a pub outside Kidderminster in 1979 regards.......Zap!
