redeyedrichard
So here's the deal...I got a new car and it has left me really dry as far as cash is concerned. I need to make some cash and henceforth have decided very reluctantly to sell a bunch of my stuff including one of my rare Led Zeppelin singles. Where would you advise the sale...apart from eBay, any specialist sites? This is the vinyl: Led Zeppelin Japanese 7" Vinyl DT1139 I believe it is listed on a site as the 28th rarest Led Zeppelin record. Any ideas? Is there any way you can sell anything different? I would not sell this now if I were you... If you must I am sure there are people that will give you some ideas. Steve Jones comes to mind. lzfan715
If I had some cash, I'd say sell right to me but alas, I'm broke and have car insurance and gsa to buy. I would reccomend ebay or amazon.
redeyedrichard
Ebay? I did put "apart from eBay" in my post. I know I will see what Jones has to say on the subject and other collectors on here. I really really really don't want to get rid of it, but sometimes we have to find cash quick and sell a buch of stuff we don't want to. By the way it is in mint condition...and I mean mint. The person I bought it from and the person he bought it from etc etc can't have played it much, if at all. lol. Thanks for your responses.
zosodude13
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/kennethdrury/zeppelin-pg.htm here is a website that has a very good listing of values for LZ vinyls. I'm not sure where or if yours is on here, so you'll have to take a look for your self best of luck
lzfan715
Rich, we have a site in the US called msic direct. I dn't know anything about how they obtain stuff but I have seen collectibles on their site before. You could try to get ahold of them, it's just musicdirect.com. The dollars won't justify the sacrifice. Sell your sperm or something. Vinyl has a longer shelf life mate! Trust me, you'll hate yourself in the morning! Bill M.
I know you said "apart from Ebay", but seriously, I've had a lot of good luck selling Led Zeppelin vinyl lot on Ebay. It got a lot of bids really fast. A vinyl-specific site that comes to mind is gemm.com, where I've shopped before. But in terms of selling, you have to realize that there are probably 12 other sellers selling the same thing you want to put up for sale.
Soccerzubs
While eBay sounds like a place where people put their junk, it is also the most popular site people look on.

Trust me, you'll hate yourself in the morning! Haha. Yeah you are probably right....can anyone direct me to a decent porn site so I can accomplish Ev's latter suggestion? No I probably will take a photo of it and then back out. I don't know. It will definitely be a last resort to sell it because it really is a thing of beauty. AAARRRGGHHHH!! I hate these choices! However I have seen this record go for £100+ in the past.
