Reggie29
I had a Maton AP5 pick up factory ( by Maton Guitars Victoria), fitted to my 1980 Limited Edition CW-40 (#094 of 515), Maton Tasman Acoustic Guitar. These are rare as rocking horse shit! Playing through Delay, Chorus and Compressor / Sustainer pedals via a Roland 60 Watt Cube Amplifier. Best thing I've done in a long time. moonson
A luthier modified my Tele copy to an 8 string thing. it´s got four double strings now: EEAADDGG, mostly i drop the low EEs to a D tho, so it´s openly tuned, gives along rich sustain and a little bit of natural chorus. tried bowing it last week thru a little fender amp, but wonder why (tho i used a LOT of roisin) the bow was much more quiet than when i play with a pick or fingers, regardless of using delay and /or distortion. since i´m playing mainly eastern scales on it, i call it a BOUZOUcaster now:) really happy to have this instrument!
