How's it going "Del Zeppnile?" I hope all is well with you. I've always loved visiting Florida although I have never lived there. I did live in California for 29 years but I've never thought for a minute of comparing Florida to San Francisco in any way. I love both states very much. The only thing that concerns me about Florida are Hurricane season and with California, those damn earthquakes. Thanks for your comment and ROCK ON my friend!

Oh, I could take the hurricanes. It's the fact that you never stop sweating, plus those damn gators that end up in your backyard is what would bother me.

Thank you, ZeppFanForever.

Someone else should not pay the price, and in any case as you noted, it was legal.

But because any appearance of impropriety attracts investigators, government officials in Florida are very conscious of the image they present, partly to discourage becoming a target.

How's it going "eternal light?" I hope all is well with you. I always look forward to your comments. Speaking of investigators, it was investigators that helped contribute in the Janke wrongful termination. Management wouldn't have had the intelligence to fire Janke alone unless there were investigators and big hot shot lawyers advising management while being paid at taxpayers expense. Thanks for the comment. ROCK ON!

How's it going "Del Zeppnile?" I hope all is well with you. I hear ya, those damn gators would bother me too. I went to visit a friend in Miami and he had a gator in his backyard. They can be a real pain in the ass. We had to call both the zoo and the animal shelter to come pick up the son-of-a-bitch. Those gators can really put up a good fight. Its a wonder that the late Steve Irwin didn't die at the teeth and strength of gators and crocodiles, and he used to jump in the water after them. That son-of-a-bitch was crazy. ROCK ON!

Thank you, ZeppFanForever, I hope your day is going well.

Ever since Jesse Helms crafted a law to address the problem of "obscenity", people have gone on a fishing expedition using the RICO statutes to prosecute individuals for everything but the kitchen sink.

You're damned if you and damned if you don't in Florida.

Anyway, it is a shame that they let him go.

I do think they over-reacted, and ignored some rights in favor of others. You can see how that doesn't work.

How's it going "eternal light?" I hope that your day went well today and all is well with you too. I always look forward to reading your comments. I'm really starting to believe you as far as "YOU'RE DAMNED IF YOU DO AND YOU'RE DAMNED IF YOU DON'T" in Florida. Florida appears to be a very strict state. However, there are no laws or regulations that say or state anything that government employee's spouses or families (That don't work in government) have to conduct themselves with the same professionalism and behavior as the government employee themselves. Management, as well as investigators and lawyers, must have really dug deep through their procedures and regulations to come up with the "no reason at all" clause in the contract in order to terminate Janke. And that cost taxpayers dollars believe it or not. The government couldn't find any reason to get rid of Janke so they had to find the "no reason at all" clause in the contract to terminate him. I'm also willing to bet my paycheck that the particular clause in question wasn't even in the contract that Janke signed. It may have been in the union regulation contract book but not in the contract itself that Janke signed. Oh well, this is a very controversial subject that I feel that Janke needs to fight in court. It is Janke's rights in question that he desperately needs to fight for. He should sue for wrongfull termination, he'd be crazy not to. Thanks for your comment "eternal light," your eternal light brightens up my day. ROCK ON!

Only if there was evidence that the city manager's wife enjoyed consuming raw oysters on the half shell, would I let this man retain his job. Otherwise, this could be a rosacea moment.

How's it going "jabe?" Ha Ha, thats a good one! Do you know what that also tells me? That tells me that Janke's wife did not want to sleep with her husband's co-workers. She'll sleep with anybody else other than her husband's co-workers and they felt neglected. Ha Ha! ROCK ON!

Why hello "~tangerine~!" And how are we doing? I hope all is well with you. I heard about MARILYN MANSON and I've even seen how he dresses. He is a very controversial artist but then again, THAT'S ROCK N' ROLL FOR YOU! Controversial artists draw attention and sell records. The same thing happened with ELVIS and THE BEATLES. Thanks for your comment and ROCK ON!

Controversial for behaving similar to Alice Cooper, Peter Gabriel, and many other performance artists? :) You know, he may have used the F word in a song or two, but i can assure, live, there was nothing outrageous about the show. It was actually, a very good concert! I found the protests over the show (in Florida) to be silly. Religion again, lol. Anyway, this is getting off the topic... and yes, i agree Del, much of Florida is still good ole' hick boys, :)

Sorry, David :) My best friend loved Bowie when we were teens. I saw Bowie with Trent Reznor once. I wonder if Nine Inch Nails got hassled in Florida. Have a good night ZeppFanForever!
