Fan_S.
I play the beginning woodwind part of Stairway To Heaven on an alto recorder. Once a co-worker and I, during a coffee break, played a duet of it. He on guitar, and me on recorder. Man, if was fun! (too bad, tho', he left for a new workplace ) I also play the recorder on the rhapsodic, middle section of Four Sticks. Ya know, the waltz-y part, right before the cymbals come crashing. Hi, me again! I've recently notated JPJ's lovely woodwind part @ the intro. I've taken a lot of liberties with re: to accuracies and pitch range of certain recorders (alto vs. soprano). My apologies. Some measures have two voices like in the recording. I was lucky enough to have a friend with whom I played duets. (too bad, now he's gone on to a different job. ) Hope this is legible. edited to add: ↓ This part comes after four bars of Jimmy Page's beautiful guitar work. Hope you enjoy. The notes will only be a little more clear. edited to add this image ↓: and don't bother with the attachment below.
