I was lucky enough to see Led Zeppelin at the Garden on June 8th 1977. What an incredible night something I will never forget. I probably still have the stub and program stashed somewhere.

I was going to see them in 75 with my older brother but I got in trouble at school a few weeks before so I wasnt allowed to go, he still went and bragged about it every chance he got. I hated him for it......until I finally got to see them in 77.

Date based on the ticket stub? Like I mentioned in this thread earlier, the August 6th 1970 Detroit concert was postponed to allow for JPJ to remain in England. It was

rescheduled and performed on September 11th 1970. Any memories of it to share?

I believe the Detroit 1970 concert was performed on 8/28/70:

(1) Page 136 of Robert Godwin's Press Reports has an ad from the 8/28/70 Detroit Free Press announcing that the band were playing that night at the Olympia.

(2) Led Zeppelin DEFINITELY did not play the Olympia in Detroit on 9/11/70! That's because The KING played 9/11/70 at the Olympia in Detroit:

One in the middle of a lot of frenchies fans, I saw them in Paris in 1973 at Palais des sports de St.ouen and still remember my first and last " violin bow toccata " ...

And will be very very very pleased to hear it again...

yeah, with a list like that...maybe i could get laid! :D

Bloodylane is modest, too...doesn't want it to be know he was at the first rehearsal!

Of course, that could be the jealosy in me talking...

April 20, 1977 - Riverfront Coliseum, Cincinnati, Ohio

A little more than one month, before my 17th birthday :D!

Me too on the 20th (my avatar is from a newspaper article on the Cincinnati shows), then me too on April 25th in Louisville. Looks like we have several April 77 Cincy and Louisville vets!
