The Pagemeister
PLANT, PAGE To Discuss 40th Anniversary Of 'Led Zeppelin II' On 'In The Studio' LED ZEPPELIN's Robert Plant and Jimmy Page will discuss the 40th anniversary of the band's landmark second album, "Led Zeppelin II", on the October 12 edition of "In The Studio" with professional radio broadcaster and rock musician interviewer Redbeard. An audio preview of the program can be heard at this location (scroll down on the left-hand side). "In The Studio" is a weekly hour-long "rockumentary" featuring in-depth exclusive interviews with the superstar musicians who have created the greatest albums in rock and roll history. Now in its 21st year, "In The Studio" is syndicated each week to over 85 U.S. cities and distributed by Radio K&G of New York City. "Led Zeppelin II" was released on October 22, 1969 on Atlantic Records. Recording sessions for the album took place at several locations in the United Kingdom and North America from January to August 1969. Production was entirely credited to Page, while it also served as LED ZEPPELIN's first album to utilize the recording techniques of engineer Eddie Kramer. "Led Zeppelin II" earned a considerable amount of sales and was LED ZEPPELIN's first album to reach number one in the United Kingdom and United States. glicine
I found the "expression" very unclear here, will there actually be a new interview? Or cut and pasted from the old interviews?

jsj
the interview is posted now: http://www.inthestudio.net/ thanks for the link. what i want to see is one of the classic album tv shows where they get the producer and artist in the studio at a mixing desk and they strip the tracks down featuring a zepelin album. 2, 4 or presence would be my choice with jimmy revealing all
dan67
Led Zeppelin 2 is really a crowning achievement; not only for the songs and the talent of the band but how the album sounds and holds up even today as compared to other hard rock groups of the time such as Cream, Jeff Beck Group, and Hendrix. On this one Jimmy's studio experience really paid off.
