alwizard03
Saw the Hulk yesterday not bad way better than the first one.
spats
Agree with you on this!! And now that she's older she even looks uglier....bleah! Saw the movie last Thursday.... I agree she is nasty. Ever see "Ed Wood" where there is a scene when she is reading a review about her performance and the reviewer says she looks like a horse? Ya think Tim Burton was trying to tell her something? longdistancewinner
Saw Gone Baby Gone on Saturday. Considering the case of Madeline McCann, I can see why it was postponed for 6 months - some aspects of the film are uncanny. Having said that, thought it was a good film and was quite impressed with Ben Affleck's directorial debut, thought Casey Affleck was good, though I found it hard to hear what he said most of the time. Had the same problem watching Assassination of Jesse James... But, any film that gets you thinking is always a good one...
GAC64
Just seen "The Happening". Not scary enough! Should have been better.

AMAZONIC
Just come back from the movies tonight. I saw The Orphanage. Brrrrr..... scary and intense movie, on the same league as The Sixth Sense. I liked it.
manderlyh
Agree with you on this!! And now that she's older she even looks uglier....bleah! Saw the movie last Thursday.... I also agree...poor Matthew Broderick...
lzfan715
I saw the Happening by M. Night Shamalon. I don't like scary movies, they freak me out but this was really stupid. I laughed at the movie the entire time, even the scary parts are really fake looking.
redrum
Just watched 'Punch Drunk Love'-- Adam Sandler should stick with his serious roles like this. 'Reign Over Me' was another good one by him. The original 'Ocean's 11' '2 Mules For Sister Sara' 'Macao' (Robert Mitchum) 'The Horse Soldiers' Getting ready to watch: 'First Men In The Moon' 'Night Of The Iguana' 'Coogan's Bluff' 'The Yakuza' 'Kamikaze (in color) 'The American Folk Blues Festival 1962-1966'

lzfan715
Yeah, there is and it isn't even a real plant. It's a plastic plant in a model house. Nothing in the model house is real, but they try to eat and drink anyway. It's a dumb movie. This guy gets run over by a lawn mower, and it looks really fake. Another guy gets eaten by a lion, it isn't nasty looking or anything. I think that older scary movies had better graphics. The way some of the blood sprays reminds me of the milti coloured blood in TSRTS.

Some review said that scene with the plant should qualify as one of the stupidest ever
lzfan715
It is. The movie was okay as a movie, the ending was stupid though. As a scary movie, it was kind of sucky.
DoubleNecker
I watched Spider Man 3 this morning while running on an reserve power for my body. First time I've seen it since I saw it in theaters last year. I love emo Peter.
BAAM
I saw the Happening tonight and it wasn't what I expected at all. Rent it or something, but I wish I had the ten bucks back, I'd buy some temporary tattoos.
lzfan715
I feel the same way. It's cheaper to just rent. It isn't really worth the admission price unless you are really into M. Night Shamalon.
BAAM
^Indeed, I almost felt insulted by it, M. Night knows better.
Seminole
I happened to see Ft. Apache, The Bronx tonight. I thought it was going to be about Injuns, but nope it was obviously about something else. It had something to do with the law.
lzfan715
I"ve not seen a really good movie at the theaters in a long time. The only exception was the screening of TSRTS, from November. I hung my ticket stubs on the wall in a frame.
DoubleNecker
I saw The Love Guru earlier. I laughed a lot, Stephen Colbert was nuts in it. I hate how everybody has to be super picky about every movie that comes out, sure they can't all be perfect, but cut them some slack, eh? lzfan715
I hope you aren't talking about me, I didn't mean it in that way. I've seen some good movies lately, but none that are really really good. Across The Universe is great, one of my favourites and it's new.
DoubleNecker
Nah, just referring to a number of people. I don't think I'll watch Across The Universe, I don't care for musicals.
lzfan715
I don't either, but this is great. It isn't a musicial in a way that everyone sings and dances together. I thought they'd make the Beatles music really commercial, but they didn't.
bigstickbonzo
Saw Get Smart the other night...it certainly has its moments of laughter but it was what I expected. ehh. Steve Carrol is stuck on playing the "awkward funnyman" in every movie now. For some actors, playing the same type of comic relief in every film works..like Bill Murray..who happens to have a hysterical cameo in this flick. "Nobody wants to talk to a guy in a tree." DoubleNecker
I'm watching Ratatouille now. I might watch Apocalypse Now again since bigstick's sig has it.
