Post-football night at the movies. Remember what I said about Chaplin, Keaton, Marx Bros., el al.? The same goes for Humphrey Bogart and Edward G. Robinson...especially if they are both in the same movie. Watch every film you can with these guys.

Watched some of my favourite leading ladies today. "My Favorite Wife" and "Too Many Husbands"  are both from an 1864 Alfred Lord Tennyson poem "Enoch Arden", later made into a play by W. Somerset Maugham, "Too Many Husbands".

"My Favorite Wife" is the better of the two films.

Later remakes include "Three for the Show" starring Betty Grable and Jack Lemmon; and "Move Over, Darling" starring Doris Day and James Garner. "Move Over Darling" actually started as "Something's Got to Give" with Marilyn Monroe and Dean Martin. But then, Marilyn died.

One of the best movies about marriage. Audrey and Albert sparkle together. Classic Henry Mancini score. Wonderful locations and 1960s fashions.

Several Looney Tunes Cartoons w/ Edward G Robinson and Bogart. One with them together is “Hollywood Steps Out”. 1:50 for Robinson & 2:40 for Bogart.

Did I just see that Tim Hanks has another movie coming out?  After his positive Covid experience?  Shocking. I love Hanks, dont get me wrong.  Just surprised.
