Strider
Always get a kick out of seeing Marsha Hunt, who is the oldest living member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, in anything. And in this round of films I got Robert Mitchum in one and his son, James, in another. Redrum, surely you have seen most if not all of these? It was $10 before the shutdown and $7 just a few years ago. I'll wait until "The Great Escape" or the "Bullitt"/" Getaway" double-bill to go. I'm currently watching the Night Of The Hunter extra disc of Charles Laughton directing the movie. Probably the most informative thing I've ever seen on flim making. Laughton always kept the camera running even during the lulls. Genius, Edited June 5, 2021 by redrum
redrum
Never saw this before. The scene with Bruce Dern in the room with the rifle, Fonda and Jon Voight was a masterpiece of acting for Dern.

Strider
Started a Jane Russell binge last week. "The Outlaw" has Howard Hughes' perversity all over it…a strange bird.
Strider
Watched these two cherished classics for Judy Garland's birthday last night. A thought struck me while watching "The Harvey Girls": When did the norm for writing 'to-night' change to 'tonight'?
