zepyep
Hi all, I agree about the ending, but without giving it away, I think there was a motive behind it? Regarding Clint. A movie worth seeing as all of his are. There certainly was.Think of that scene and what everybody saw,..... KB
lzfan715
I saw Bride Wars. I wouldn't reccommend it unless you are a chick flick kind of person.
eternal light
I saw Bride Wars. I wouldn't reccommend it unless you are a chick flick kind of person. That's what people say. It's not really that appealing to the masculine gender. I thought it was funny though, and had some good moments.
Pip
I saw Revolution Road the other night... I wasn't ready for it!! It was really good but I was a bit wired and weird afterwards... plus I had just had a big week and it was meant to be a treat to go to the movies and I think I was more stressed out afterward.... jimmie ray
I saw the silent version of the 'The Ten Commandments' I could tell the 'future' part was filmed in San Francisco. I've never seen that version, but read that the same props (pyramids, statues, palaces) were re-used in the Charlton Heston remake?

I don't know about the props but it could be. Maybe DeMille could see into the future.

~tangerine~
I haven't gone to the movies in a while, but I watched And Now For Something Completely Different twice tonight. I haven't seen that movie in years (maybe mid 80's)... John Cleese is one of my very favorite comedians!
redrum
I might have posted this already: Julian Bream's 'GUITARRA' about the history of the guitar in Spain. It's worth it also just for the scenery, art and lovely Espanola's. The Naked Maja by Goya

I used to love to watch Monty Python, but when i found Fawlty Towers, i knew which one of the gang was my favorite!
manderlyh
It's funny---for a long time, I coudln't stand The Meaning of Life because of the Mister Creosote scene. Therefore, I wanted nothing to do with Monty Python. About two years ago, I caved and watched The Holy Grail again, and I decided I could give them another try. I liked the Monty Python movies many years ago, but the series was what i really enjoyed. It also helped that when i first started watching them it was with a boyfriend who turned me on to them. I can remember us watching one episode of Fawlty Towers one night and laughing non-stop for 15 minutes! Gotta love the dry English humor! I can't wait to do the whole "bring a bucket and a cleaning woman" and "it's only waffffer thin" lines at restaurants, after everyone is stuffed and complaining they ate too much.
